Unfortunately, my mother stayed here far too short a time, but she got better very quickly, felt at home and was surrounded by the best care. This is a cozy home with the heart in the right place, where it is pleasant to live with time for people. Give your parents a warm home where you would also like to stay. Highly recommended.

A great residential care center! I recently spent a week as a volunteer in Ten Berch for the first time, and my grandmother has been staying here for a year now. For me this was a wonderful opportunity to experience what really goes on in a residential care center, and it exceeded all expectations. Ten Berch employs a professional and close-knit team that puts the resident first. There are various entertainment activities every day in the morning and afternoon that are tailored to the needs of each resident. This is provided by a specific and ambitious entertainment team and supported by permanent volunteers, who are ready with a smile every day. There is a large, modern space with various adapted sports equipment. The professional physiotherapists provide a personal and adapted program every morning to keep the residents fit, at their own pace, with patience and respect. I ate with the residents throughout the week. The cafeteria (better said, restaurant) is very clean, light, pleasant and has well-maintained and laid tables. The chef prepares a fresh 3-course menu every afternoon, and in the evening there is a buffet. I had a tasty meal here every day. The quality of the food and the variety in the dishes is sublime. I would like to thank the chef again: it is not easy to always cook well for a large group, but he can do this. Hats off! The room manager is also great. You can also eat here with your family, you will then be assigned a separate table (very pleasant). Furthermore, regarding the accommodation: Ten Berch has a brand new building, which has been very thoughtfully designed. There are beautiful, spacious rooms with a large bathroom. There is a lot of light and a view of the green surroundings. Some rooms have a terrace. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The residential care center is well and quietly located and there is a spacious underground parking garage. There is also always good follow-up in terms of care, both from healthcare professionals and nursing staff. Family members always receive good feedback and are kept informed via newsletters. There is a warm atmosphere in Ten Berch and all employees work here with a passion. In my opinion, this is essential in elderly care. Congratulations to director Sarah and her entire team for the good work, you have a positive future! Residential care centers often receive negative media coverage. That is what you get as an outsider, which makes it easy to make a negative judgement. I recommend everyone to join us for a day, your perception will change (certainly in Ten Berch). We have the nicest team and the best residents in the world! And we offer the best care! The best retirement home I have ever worked in! So good I don't want to leave! A boss who comforts you, supports you and makes all your wishes come true. Who regularly rewards, treats and compliments you. Is it always roses and moonshine? No, but that's not the case at home either! 😜 And the grass really isn't greener on the other side... But we do our best to treat everyone the way we want to be treated! The healthcare sector has a huge shortage of staff, and there are shortages everywhere. But we still make sure everything runs! My mother has been staying at Residence Ten Berch in Antwerp since mid-August. To date, I have nothing but praise for this residence. Both the managers and the staff are top notch. Friendly towards the residents, they really pay attention to everything, even the little things of a resident. Very good follow-up, from both the healthcare professionals and the nursing staff, as well as the manager. You get very good feedback. The residents are put first here, which is not the case at other WZCs. I can speak to this, because my mother used to be in another WZC. The activities are also tailored to what the resident can do. The food is really delicious, I would even dare to say that it is restaurant quality. The nice thing is that as a resident's family you can also eat with us if you want. This is not the case with many other WZC. Then I would forget the accommodation itself, beautiful, spacious, well-kept rooms with a large bathroom. Some have a balcony, which is very nice for the residents themselves, as they still feel at home. When you enter the residence, you do not have the feeling that you are entering WZC at all, but rather the feeling of a 4-star hotel. Such a beautiful interior and a nice atmosphere there. Parking is also no problem, because there is a large underground parking lot. So definitely worth 5 stars
Super residential care center. Modern, clean, own fresh kitchen. Recommended. Just opened in January. Looking for a beautiful new home with qualified care...the pace to be 👍
