Despite a notice period which ended on December 30, 2024, Armonea tried to collect the entire month of January 2025. For the 5 nights there, Armonea billed him €273.48. Most of the medications were in boxes of 90 tablets and it was impossible for us to collect any medication. You should know that the administrator of Armonea is also the administrator of the pharmacy which supplies the medicines... This establishment is located in the territory of Brussels-Capital but you are obliged to sign the contract in Flemish... I went today to kiss and hug my dearest friend, my heart mother for over 40 years, Liliane Floss. I say THANK YOU 🥰 to the staff of the establishment for their kindness, their empathy, their dedication with such a beautiful smile to these elderly people who so need this precious attention. I also say congratulations to the establishment for its functional, welcoming and exceptionally clean infrastructure.
On all activities it is 15/10, insufficient food, mediocre care, three quarters of the staff have no professional conscience. 6th direction which changes in three years and it's not yet finished. I had to change my dad urgently because he lacked food, the residents are rationed. Medical treatments, often forgotten. No communication of information between colleagues, the new caregivers leave it to themselves not knowing who needs what. Significantly understaffed. Regularly the residents of the ephad find themselves alone for more than an hour to leave to themselves the time of the shift change. On the positive side, beautiful (chic) place, more than interesting activities. But too expensive for what it is!
My mother is at Armonea. She's very spoiled by the friendly staff, the delicious homemade meals, and the varied activities. She wouldn't change nursing homes for the world. Furthermore, on the administrative side, we receive a lot of help and support, which allows us to relieve ourselves of administrative complications. This is also greatly appreciated. A huge thank you to the team; please don't change a thing!
My grandfather stayed there a few weeks ago in an emergency following the death of his wife. His clothes and underwear were changed very little, if at all, during the three weeks he spent there. Despite our comments to the staff, nothing has changed. A shame. When we came to visit him or took him home he was thirsty, he only drank very little there and not being able to have the reflex to drink alone we spoke to the staff about it but nothing was taken into account. Protect your elders, do not waste your time or money in this structure.
