Av. Castillo Puebla de Alcocer, 16, 06006 Badajoz, Spain
My sister is in this residence due to the inability we have to care for her at home. We went to it because they advised us that “it was the best” in Badajoz. The management is not responsible for anything…. In the month of August we, the family, realized that his lower false teeth were missing. We asked what had happened to her and no one knew anything!!! One of the answers we had is that this happened from time to time, but the staff did not realize at any time that she was not swallowing well due to her lack of teeth. Communicated to the center's management, they tell me that they have a box with many dentures since that happened frequently... the director tells me that there is civil liability insurance that covers the expenses involved in replacing the dentures. We have to do all the paperwork ourselves, make an appointment with the dentist, go to the consultation and pay for the prosthesis they make. It should be the center that assumes the entire process since it has been their negligence. Not at all, we paid the expenses and after four months, they still have not paid us the amount they owe us. When I complained to the management, the director told me that it has been processed and that it usually takes three months to pay it. When I have had an accident at home and the insurance has had to cover some expense, it has paid it on the fly. Yes, every first of the month they religiously collect the bill. When he was admitted, all the clothes he was wearing were marked and after a few days he began to lose them. It's not the worst thing about getting lost, it's that the lost clothes don't appear later. We make the decision not to wash our clothes at the center, we bring them home. Even so, despite there being signs in the room not to put the clothes in the wash, they put them in the wash and it gets lost!!! I have written countless emails demanding the clothes and the response..., the clothes are not recovered. The cleaning of the rooms..., the bedside table moves with the tip of the finger, it has not moved in months and therefore it is not cleaned. A magazine has been behind her…months. And a pill... even longer, despite telling the director. The wheelchair that accompanies my sister all day, “takes a shower”, is not scrubbed and the remains of food and vomit are not cleaned. On different occasions we have had to say that they will clean it because it is embarrassing to have it with that dirt. On several occasions we have had to tell them to wash his nails because they were black... There is a lack of personnel in the plants. The assistants do what they can. They can't sit my sister in a relaxing chair after breakfast because it would mean putting her in a wheelchair again at mealtime. They can't do that because there are many residents..., that is the answer they gave me when I made the suggestion that they sit her in the relaxation chair so that she wouldn't spend so many hours in the wheelchair. We had to resort to a “medical prescription” to put her down for a nap given the conditions she is in and….This is looking out for the well-being of the residents and personalized attention?? The lamp at the bedside has been broken...for days, we had to ask them to fix it because no one had it and it was in danger of falling on his head. The handle on the closet broke and the exact same thing happened, we had to open the roommate's closet door to be able to close my sister's closet door... The center has been months without a service that we had contracted and that we paid for, MEDICAL. At no time have they deducted from the bill the lack of in-person assistance from the doctor as it should have been. Having a telephone conversation with the director is “mission impossible.” Verbatim words from her “I can't answer calls from all the family members.” I've been waiting for you to call me back... I could continue giving details, but I'll stop for now. I don't think they will respond to me by telling me that they are at my disposal to resolve...and improve communication with families....

I want to heartily thank, on behalf of the entire family, the entire team at the DomusVi residence for the love and dedication with which they have cared for my mother Isabel. Knowing that it has been in the hands of such attentive professionals has given us a lot of peace of mind. Thank you for your patience and empathy. We will always be grateful to you!
I have my father-in-law there and we couldn't be happier, especially seeing the progress made by the entire team, doctor, therapists, nurses, assistants, etc... Thanks to the management team for the welcome, making us participants at all times in the evolution of our family member. Keep working so you are on the right track. Thank you very much for your love and empathy!!🥰😘
Excellent residence, the best of the best, I have a family member there and I couldn't be happier. Impeccable treatment by all the staff, attentive, empathetic, always giving that affection and affection that is needed at some point. I recommend it for all those people who want to give the best attention to their loved ones 😍
A close relative has been in this residence for 6 years, he passed away a month ago and we are still waiting for at least a call from the director to offer condolences to the family. They gave us their belongings in two boxes and already, a total lack of empathy and treatment towards the family. It is clear that it is a business in which people do not matter, only money. Total disappointment.
