I stayed here for a month and was very disappointed at the standard of accommodation. TBH it had the feeling of a prison, the furniture was sparse, there was no English TV (not one channel) no WiFi, the bathroom floor was disgusting (see pic) and towels were limited to 1 bath towel and punishable by death if you took it from the rooms. You had to ask for an airer and ironing board. The place is overrun by feral cats who fight throughout the night. I had to laugh that they had to inspect the place before they returned my deposit, everything was only fit for the skip . Evoca are now refurbishing some of the bungalows and planning to shaft the inmates for high rents. Only the desperate and the vulnerable will stay. This review is about the property and owners and not about the staff who are very decent, honest, considerate and deserve 5 stars.

Recently I had a delivery from a local furniture company, which required vehicle access via the top gate at the resort. I sat in the large van with the driver, to help guide him to our bungalow on the other side of the resort. As we sped through the narrow roads, he looked around in amazement and commented, "This place is empty! It shouldn't be. What's wrong with it?" I said nothing, as row upon row of bungalows we passed were obviously shuttered and unoccupied. When we reached the resort’s swimming pool(s?), he spluttered, "This is crazy, there's no water in it, and it's sealed off! Who's done that? What's the point in having a pool if you can't use it?" I shrugged, feeling sick inside, as he obviously felt pity for me. Even if we were to use the pool, it’s not been chlorinated. THERE ARE NEW OWNERS NOW, WHO ARE REMEDYING THE PROBLEMS WE FACED. THE SITUATION IS IMPROVING BY THE DAY. IT IS THEIR STATED INTENTION TO MAKE SANTARA SENIORS RESORT NOT ONLY THE BIGGEST BUT ALSO THE BEST IN SPAIN.
Wonderful resort and accomodation. Stayed for 3 months and had the best experience. Great services and great location close to the beach and all facilities. Will be back next year.
Good website . Requested information but still no reply. Very annoying
Worst place ever ....
