Still at the hotel – here’s my honest review I wanted to share my experience while it’s still fresh. I’ve seen a few reviews claiming the staff aren’t friendly, but I have to say that hasn’t been my experience at all. The staff have been very friendly, polite, and helpful throughout my stay. Location: Excellent. You’re surrounded by restaurants and stores, just a 10-minute walk to the Marina, and less than 10 minutes to the beach (do keep in mind there’s a steep hill on the way back). Why I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5: • The room is clean, modern, and generally comfortable. However, it lacks some basic essentials such as a vanity kit, tissues, and small towels. Also, the in-room phone doesn’t work, so there’s no way to call reception or any other department. • If you’re hoping for a quiet, relaxing time by the adults-only pool, you might be disappointed. The pool was full of children jumping and playing, and small kids with their nappies swimming in the pool, and no enforcement of the “adults only” rule. This made it difficult to unwind or read peacefully. Overall, it’s a good hotel with a great location and friendly staff, but a few details could be improved to elevate the guest experience.

Visited for the first time with my wife and son this past week. My only remarks are the pillows were too skinny (for our liking) so we folded them in half to make them more comfy. And there wasn’t any information in the room like a welcome guide, so we had to ask reception how to work the A/C: you have to make sure the balcony doors are shut. But otherwise we had the time of our lives! The hotel was peaceful, clean, and stylish. The pool was lovely and we had great views from our balconies. Breakfast food was delicious! All staff encounters were very positive and friendly. Thank you - we would love to come back.
Not the friendliest or most helpful staff. The room was tiny. Awful spa, the pictures do not reflect what it currently looks like. We went once and left as there was rust and mould, and the jet pool was not warm. However, we had the dinner buffet once and it was nice.
All I can say is we had an amazing Christmas in portals, the lovely lobby with Christmas tree was so welcoming and cosy, friendly staff who were lovely, nice clean room and a beautiful spa - we always rave about how good the special aromatherapy showers are! Our daughter loved the soft play area which was so fun for her and also very clean too. Thank you for making our Christmas away so special 🎄
Staff were great and really helpful. Food was nice and the breakfast had lots of options. There is a very nice gym and a spa although we didn't use this. There is a play area for kids as well. We did think that the rooms were a little dated and could do with modernisation but saying that they were very clean! The bar was reasonable price wise but a little small. Location wise, it is about a 10-minute walk to some really nice beaches and a fantastic (albeit) expensive marina. Just going to look at some of the mega yachts and picking your favourite seemed to be a daily occurrence! All in all, we had a very nice stay here and would definitely consider it again if we were to return.
