The staff does what they can; the community does not care and the winning company is going to make money: the results are many problems and lack of attention to the inmates, it is a public residence of the community of Madrid and should not be privatized THEY ARE OUR ELDERS AND NOT MERCHANDISE OF NEOLIBERALISM THAT ONLY CARE ABOUT ECONOMIC RESULTS

The residence is very good, clean and well equipped, but the best of all is its staff. My mother didn't want to go to the day center and now she's counting the minutes until they come to pick her up.
I could never imagine that a public residence could be so terrible. My grandmother, with full mental capacity but lack of mobility, entered a public square at the beginning of September. They left her alone without being able to talk to anyone. They even closed the door so she wouldn't hear that she needed help, and took away her phone so she couldn't notify her relatives. Days after entering she caught COVID, after which she suffered a choking problem due to the way they were feeding her that almost cost her her life (in fact they called to warn them talking about her in the past tense), from that moment she was admitted to the Leganés hospital. I think she was there for 2 weeks. The poor service made us consider paying for a private residence rather than taking her there again. After what she experienced in that residence, my grandmother lived for another month. I have no words to describe what he told us, the poor treatment meted out to him. I don't recommend it.
Inhumane, bad food, generally poor staff, and please forgive me, the four good ones. Terrible management that takes criticism as threats. Just go to the only restroom at 12 and see the poor elderly people waiting in line, or go and try a casserole dish in the rooms, or try the noodle soup or the minced meat. The menu is repetitive; I haven't seen the beef in four months. A very bad experience; they should audit it or ask those of us who have had relatives there.
DISASTROUS EXPERIENCE at all levels, human, professional, no empathy, they ignore your complaints, which in my case have been multiple in four months, bad manners with residents, poor hygiene both in facilities and with residents, lack of coordination between the morning and afternoon shift, coldness in treatment, totally obsolete, poorly functional facilities and very poorly used space. Very negative, I would never recommend it. There is no professionalism, except for two or three people who show a little more sensitivity towards the elderly.
