Good afternoon: I would like to explain a little about our current experience at AMAVIR GETAFE. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. MY mother has been living there for 4 years, I have to say that she was the one who decided to go live in a residence when my father died, For us so far it is turning out to be a VERY GOOD RESIDENCE. My mother, who lives there, is delighted with how Las Ausiliares treat her. The food, she tells us, is very delicious. And I can say that all the staff is attentive at all times to anything I ask of them, from the receptionists when I call to speak with my mother, the cleaning staff, the Auxiliaries, the maintenance gentlemen, the wonderful hairdresser. Psychologists, Nurses, Social Workers. Housekeepers, therapists, doctors always attentive to my mother's health. The Director is very attentive. In short, for us to this day it is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
I have no words of gratitude for how they have behaved at the Amavir Getafe Residence, since my mother (Angelina) and I walked through the door, everything was love and support from Rocío, and that was the case until the day she passed away. At the head of this center is Alba, the director, who is always showing her support and love and doing everything she can to help in everything she can. Special mention should be made of Bea, my mother's assistant who in her last moments gave us all the best of herself: with a heart that does not dig in her chest and a great professional, always attentive and very careful in postural changes and toilets. Lourdes, Puri and Roberto, Ana... And without a doubt Eric and Oscar, my mother's doctors. Doctor Oscar for whom my mother had devotion and I know that he also for her, for those "eternal conversations" that the two of them always had, and those jokes they made, for their constant fight for him to eat... for so many things. Thank you so much for treating and caring for her so well and for giving me all your love during such difficult times. If you need to take your family member to a Residence, do not hesitate to count on Amavir Getafe since they will welcome you like the GREAT FAMILY THEY ARE. Thank you, thank you and a thousand thanks. My mother has taken all your love with her and I know that I left her in very good hands.
The human team is incredible. I have no words to express my daily gratitude for what I see, not only in daily contact but in the different recreational activities where everyone tries to make them moments of joy and family feeling. Thank you!!
I know people who have worked here, they demand too much from them, and they are not given time to serve the residents as people, giving them the necessary care and attention. For them they are just another number to shower or change and the faster you go, even if it is causing harm, moving them abruptly, the better because that is what the residence is looking for.
