Ven. du Bois de la Pierre 20, 1300 Wavre, Belgium
Be careful, there is an amalgamation between the rehabilitation center and the Bois de la Pierre rest home!!!! As much as I have already heard good things about the rehabilitation center, the rest home should be avoided. Old building, for the rooms, very limited and poorly trained staff... It's a death house and people are left to their fate! Very little care and when there is some it is poorly given. In the opinion of a general practitioner who was treating the person I knew, it is a center where I would not place a loved one!!!! So be careful....

I had a very pleasant stay there and found many possibilities for cultural entertainment. The rehabilitation is very well organized and very effective. After my knee replacement operation I went out barely limping and no longer limps at all today. The staff are charming and come by regularly to see if everything is going well. I spent 2 and a half months in this center for my revalidation and rehabilitation after my spinal operation. Very quiet place and very good service. Respect for the patient and kindness of staff. Patients also find the services of a hairdresser, small store with newspapers, cafeteria restaurants for visitors and for the sick. Paid parking after certain times. Tv in each room. Own. Exemplary physiotherapy for other hospitals. Three sports halls for physiotherapy, small physiotherapy rooms for each service. The rehabilitation room for daily life. Also the swimming pool. Very pleasant reception service. Magnificent terrain for resting and healing. Animals also find their place in the surrounding woods. I advise everyone to find the place for revalidation.
I just spent a little month there revalidating after a knee operation (ptg). No way to find a single negative point. Everything was perfect, thank you to Dr. Delaunois for his attentive listening, thank you to all the nurses in 2A, they are all great, competent and always available. Their smiles are already 50% of the healing. Now, physiotherapy, the best of the best, state-of-the-art equipment, including virtual reality. I cannot conclude without personally thanking Murielle, the physiotherapist who took care of our group; I can't find the words, she is extraordinary, phenomenal, the perfect blend of competence, humor, good humor but with from time to time the necessary rigor to keep us on the path to healing. Finally, a special hello for Emeline, occupational therapist who helps you progress gently with a smile that even Putin would appreciate. Thanks to everyone else I don't have time to mention. Ah...I ate very well during my stay. Thank you, thank you and thank you
My mother unfortunately passed away, but they took exceptional care of her until the end!!
