C. de la Era, 2, Málaga-Este, 29016 Málaga, Spain
It is a very homely and welcoming residence for the elderly. It is located in a good neighborhood in Malaga, within a quiet and well-connected environment, which is what they need at that stage of their lives. The receptionists are very friendly, polite and helpful, on the phone and also in person. The medical/health team is one of the best there is in residences. The current address of the center is very close and accessible to clients. Totally recommended.

The best residence in Malaga. The treatment of patients and families is very good. It has a great team of professionals. There are very good nurses and assistants. I recommend it.
The worst residence in the world; My father, suffering from grade 3 Alzheimer's, was only there for 4 days (we got him out quickly) and on the 2nd day he fell out of bed, spending the entire night on the floor, since they had not given him a special bed or any other means given his illness. During the 4 days they did not brush his teeth, because the package of his toothbrushes was unopened..., which leads us to think that his toilet was not covered at all. His clothes were dirty when we went to see him….. It is a terrible residence, with terrible service, terrible management..., everything, everything horrible. I advise you to never take your family there.
We have removed my father from the residence after 3 days. The reception was very sweet, with a lot of care and a lot of "heehee haha" so that later it turned out to be, only, sweetened. The treatment of the staff was friendly, until I realized that it was a pantomime of theater seeing how they treated the patients, not exactly like human beings. In general, the impression I got is pure façade and hypocrisy so that the family remains calm and happy. Now I am going to present the concrete and tangible facts: after the "magnificent" treatment when entering, we took my father to the common room. In the hallway, next to the ward, a resident lady complained of pain in her legs, which forced my family to intervene up to two times by notifying the staff. The next move on the part of the nurse is to call by phone to notify a guard, I understand: "get this lady out of here, because there are relatives and they are complaining"...? nothing referring to the care and illness of that person. This was the first day. On the third day that we went to see him, we found my father in poor condition and neglected, to the point of seeing that he had not been properly cleaned during those days. The toothbrushes he was carrying were still in their seal! This fact, to make matters worse, is based on the fact that some wounds had to be treated during the first days; I'm not a doctor, but I already knew in first grade that if you want to heal a wound, the first thing is for it to be clean. Also, that same night before, he fell out of bed and was there from the time he fell until they "discovered" him at 9 in the morning, which tells me that he could have spent practically the entire night on the floor. Next, my father interacts with his environment, limited, but he interacts. Well, the day we took him out they had him, you could say, drugged and lost. He didn't know where his head was, with his mouth open, his hands trembling without being able to talk to us... something we have never seen in him, he was completely gone (we know that they have given him that "medication", without knowing what it is, but he is by no means prescribed it). We are very close to reporting, and it is no longer because of my father because he is safe and sound at home again, where he should not have left. But one does not expect these events going to a center that is supposedly so professional. It makes you want to report just to prevent another family from suffering what mine has suffered.
ORPEA EL LIMONAR, A RESIDENCE WITH AN INDIGNABLE ADDRESS. Since 2014, my mother was a resident in this residence, which at that time was part of the Sanyres group, and had a magnificent management team that was empathetic and willing to solve problems, as well as enough staff to care for all the residents. When it was bought by the Orpea group the situation worsened significantly. Now I'm just going to highlight a very painful fact. Last July my mother passed away and we did not receive any type of condolences or expression of affection from the director and the management team. Only the medical team (to whom I will always be grateful) and the assistants gave me their condolences with all their love. The director's attitude was despicable. With inhuman treatment following the death of a nonagenarian resident whom he ignored in these last sad moments. He is a person who does not have the empathy or moral quality to run a nursing home.
