After 20 years in healthcare, I can honestly say: Molenheide in Wijnegem is an exceptional nursing home. It is not only surrounded by greenery, but also has a warm, positive atmosphere. What touches me most is the dedication of director Yasmina. She is always there for residents and staff. On warm days, she even comes to hand out ice cream to the team herself; such a gesture says everything about her commitment. Respect! A big thumbs up for Yasmina and the entire Molenheide team. The police have arrested a suspect for the possible murder of a 72-year-old resident of the Molenheide residential care center in Wijnegem. The suspect is a 45-year-old employee.
We are extremely happy with our choice of Molenheide. Today my mother said that she likes to see paintings, the clock and so on, which remind her of her childhood. It makes her feel at home. Animation is great!!! She enjoys it and is starting to get interested in “doing something” again. The staff gives us advice and tips, which is much appreciated. So for me as a daughter it gives me peace of mind that everything will be fine. Thank you to everyone who works so hard for our parents!!
Small residential care center that, through integration into a larger group, is currently run by people who do not even have the respect of their residents, let alone their staff. High staff turnover, resulting in a stressful working environment and a discouraging atmosphere in the house. They want to command respect from both residents and staff... pitting colleagues against each other... but everyone knows that respect must be earned!!!
our thanks for the years of optimal care of our recently deceased mother. Through her many years of stay, we had built up a great bond with the staff who are still close to our hearts.
