6 months ago my husband and I came to the Ballesol Costa Blanca Resort. It took us a bit to decide, but now I have to admit that it was a success, because the truth is we feel very comfortable here. We are in a very spacious and bright apartment equipped with all the comforts, we have brought our things here and we have decorated it to our liking. So we are like in our own home. The common areas are very good, the living room, the gardens, the dining room, etc etc... The staff here is very nice, especially the girls who organize the activities are very kind and attentive, they do everything possible so that we all spend our time in the most pleasant way (and they succeed). Here the security is extreme and if we need something we just have to ask. As I say, we are doing very well here, and we hope it lasts for a long time.
Since my grandmother moved to the Ballesol Residence, our family has experienced incomparable peace and tranquility. The professionalism of the team is exceptional; from assistants, technical equipment, reception... everyone demonstrates a genuine commitment to the well-being and comfort of residents. Strategically located in a quiet and accessible area, the residence offers stunning sea views that provide a serene and stimulating environment. The surrounding green areas invite relaxing walks and moments of connection with nature, while the proximity to essential services facilitates the daily life of residents and their families. The variety and quality of activities at the Ballesol Residence are truly commendable. My grandmother enjoys participating in art workshops where she has discovered a hidden talent, and the adapted exercise classes keep her fit and active (they have aquagym in the summer) Organized outings, including beach excursions and cultural visits to local museums, wine tastings and more offer exciting opportunities to explore and enjoy the community. Additionally, social events such as theme nights, barbecues and live concerts create a vibrant atmosphere that enriches the experience for all residents. We receive a monthly magazine with all the activities they do during the month to stay up to date with everything, in which we can see how fun their daily lives are. I highly recommend the Ballesol Residence to those looking for a home for their elderly loved ones where the care is excellent and the activities are designed to promote vitality and well-being. It is a comfort to know that my grandmother is in a place so carefully cared for and where she can enjoy a full and happy life.
The facilities alone are great. The attention leaves a lot to be desired. The food is awful. It tastes like nothing and is cold every day, even the spoon dishes. The bread is stone hard. There are no other drinks other than water to eat, not like other places that give you wine. Breakfast has no variety to choose from or quantity. Depressing. Now, for family members who come to visit, everything looks very nice in terms of buildings. To be able to eat a variety of fruit you have to buy it at the market on Tuesdays or Saturdays. And with how expensive the stay is paid!!! A shame!!
This summer we spent our holidays in Ballesol and we really couldn't be happier. The apartments are super well-equipped and the facilities in general are unbeatable. As the main note, I wanted to greatly thank Isabel who is at the reception for her dedication and treatment, she helped us and informed us of every question that arose...thank you
