From the autumn of 2016 to June 2022, this was the residence of my father Arend Hendriks. I couldn't have asked for better care for him, the care was very loving towards him. Patience, respect, kindness are the first words that come to mind when thinking back to the Zorgvilla. After we had been providing care at home as children for almost 5 years, we came into contact with Kruseman Aretz Zorgvillas (Zorgvilla Oud Clingendael). They took over our care and continuously informed us about what was happening, so that even when we were not there, we knew exactly how our father was doing. For example, my father also really enjoyed the music afternoons that were organized, where there was singing, guitar and/or piano playing. I recommend this villa to every child who is looking for a safe and pleasant home for his/her parent with Alzheimer's. It's so nice to go to bed with the idea in the back of your mind that he is being taken care of. Once again, thank you for the good and loving care of my father. Kind regards, Veerle Bender Hendriks

Fantastic luxury care villa. My father had a very nice time there. The caregivers are very friendly, polite and competent. There are daily activities for the residents such as cooking together, gardening, walking, boating, visiting a museum, etc. The villa has the appearance of a 5-star hotel. And that is not only due to the design and location. The service, care, organization, everything is carried out in a careful, respectful and warm manner. If this is the case, I would recommend everyone to stay here.

Our father stayed in Oud Clingendael for two years and, unfortunately, our final assessment is not positive. Due to advanced Alzheimer's, his world consisted of small things: daily care, vegetarian food, chocolate milk instead of lemonade and classical music. These often turned out to be impossible or insufficiently possible. Oud Clingendael has many hardworking assistants who provide loving attention. But there is also the management's policy with the resulting abuses. Our experience: Every incident reported to management was met with resistance. The fault lay either with the staff, or with the family, or with the client himself. This ranged from denial and, if a family member persisted, to even a personal attack. Criticism is not tolerated. Final verdict: The positive image that was painted to us during the tour and registration is contradictory to reality.
