Coffee ok but no pastries which were on the menu. You have to pay 6.50 euros for a sandwich, you would think, normal price, but we also passed up the small sandwich or a sandwich.

No one is in a nursing home for pleasure, but if I were in the situation where admission was necessary (and I had the luxury of choice), I would certainly choose a location like the Oude Mars!
What a lovely spot to enjoy a treat. In the middle of a beautiful walking area!
