Okay
My stay on a classic **Rohatsu Sesshin** in the **Zen Monastery Buchenberg** was a profound and transformative experience that enriched me in many ways. The care and professionalism with which the teachers, especially **Zen master Hinnerk Polenski**, look after the participants are impressive. They create an environment in which one feels safe and supported to embark on the intense inner journey. The silence and community of the group make it possible to cross boundaries and encounter oneself in a way that is otherwise difficult to access. The **Daishin Zen** that Hinnerk Polenski represents is a successful adaptation of traditional Japanese Zen to European culture and time without losing the essence of Zen. It is a path that is directed towards people and life and allows one to follow one's own heart, regardless of external expectations. The place itself is beautifully located, surrounded by the gentle hilly landscape of the Allgäu Lake District. The people who work there do so with complete dedication and great joy, which enriches the atmosphere even more. As someone who has been intensively on this path for two years, I can say that it has changed my life in a positive way - not only for myself, but also for those around me. It is important to emphasize that this path is not an easy or superficial experience, but real, sometimes painful work on yourself. But this is supported lovingly and professionally by the team. In addition to the traditional sesshins, there are also gentler introductions that allow you to gradually introduce yourself to the practice. In addition, the **MasterMeditation Community** offers a protected virtual space to exchange ideas with other practitioners and even directly with the master. In both real and virtual space, everything is very grounded and pleasingly non-esoteric, which makes the experience even more authentic. Overall, my stay at the Buchenberg Zen Monastery was an extraordinary experience that I can recommend to anyone who is ready to embark on a deep inner journey.

7 days Sesshin March 25th Thank you again for your professional and personal guidance and support. The sesshin grounded me, made my space bigger again and I returned to my everyday life with a special peace. Namaste
Came for yoga to end up at ZEN 😉 A few days off and a bit of yoga, that was my original plan! And then I find a magical place where I find space & time and the right atmosphere to get a complete distance from everyday life, its routines and duties, get to know people who look after a wide variety of seminar participants with incredible inner peace, acceptance, unobtrusive care and forbearance (especially with beginners), who clearly live what they want to convey and do so with great warmth and affection. A structured day takes place in a healthy manner: meditation, exercise sessions, lectures, tea ceremony, yoga, walking meditation, work in silence (max. 1 hour a day... in order to make a meaningful contribution to the community). Since it is - despite all the openness and uncomplicatedness - a monastery and seminar center - and not a hotel with service staff, that was completely fine. If you want, you can go on a journey within, and if you just need some peace and quiet in beautiful surroundings with delicious food, you are also welcome. Everything can be, nothing has to be. Everyone according to their needs – without judgment or influence. Some come to learn to meditate, others for an inner contemplation, many with a burden in their luggage that, away from everyday life without usual influences, takes on a different color through the learning content of ZEN and, in the best case, becomes lighter due to new insights, food for thought and perspectives. If you need guidance and help with meditation, you will always find an open ear and professional support from meditation teachers in a one-on-one conversation. My conclusion after 3 visits: I hope that the effect of the last 7 days lasts for a long time, I feel less and less like a seeker - more and more like a finder 😉 and “Clarity – Respect – Harmony – Silence” is now stuck to my fridge as a post-it note...
