My Mom was a resident at the Yorkshire of Edina for 4 years. We always felt Mom was safe and in a healthy environment. The staff was caring, attentive and met all her needs. The early years she liked to play bingo, attend church, bible study and listen to featured music. The last year she lived in memory care and received amazing care from a well trained staff. They tended to her physical, spiritual and psychological needs. She was always encouraged to participate in the daily activities: coffee time, exercise class, hymn sing, manicures, etc. They cared for her through end of life with the help of Lifespark Hospice. I would highly recommend this facility and I would make the same decision again if I had the chance.

My beloved Karen recently passes. I will go to my grave believing that Yorkshire pushed her into a downward spiral. How bad was her care? The Minnesota Department of Health found that they had horribly mistreated her... This was just over two years ago, but she never recovered from their maltreatment. I will not hold a grudge, as that just allows them to keep hurting me. What I will say is that I hope they or their loved ones are never subjected to the lack of care, concern and treatment they subjected Karen to.
We visited Yorkshire of Edina yesterday for a tour. We were so impressed with the services and the quality. The people who led our tour were very helpful, kind and knowledgeable. Thank you.
My mother has lived at this facility for 2 years. It's a beautiful, upscale community. Good food and excellent amenities including an in-house beauty salon. What's especially good is the location - other assisted livings we've looked at were on a highway or another undesirable location but Yorkshire is on the edge of an urban hub with plenty of walking paths and shops all within walking distance. Unlike other reviewers, my mother has never had problems with medication or services, and the physicians group that comes for in-person check-ups are just wonderful (especially Dr. Nash!). Yes there is staff turnover but for the most part they are managing well and the staff is very courteous and professional.
Nursing staff is amazing. They do an amazing job taking care of my father. Receptionist that has replaced the amazing Dani is terrible. Took me three days to connect with my dad to wish him a happy birthday. Sad very sad.
