I was nervous about the care my mother would receive at a rehabilitation facility. I had visited my in laws at a different facility and was confounded at the lack of concern or interest from the staff. From the very first interaction with York South I was impressed! All of the staff are focused and intent on treating each resident as family. They were putting their best effort in at all angles to help my mom and I navigate this journey. The comfort and care my mom received here was top notch and I wish every facility would put this kind of compassion and care into their residents!

We visited my Dad tonight. His mental state has really gone downhill since he was hospitalized. Lizarah was his nurse tonight. She was absolutely wonderful! She has an adorable personality, and is very knowledgeable. She helped with Dad so much, and answered all of our questions. She definitely goes above and beyond, and it seems to come completely natural to her.
The staff here seem to be pleasant and seem caring. The facility appears to be very clean from what I observed. Check-in is easy. I like that there are not any set visiting hours.
All the staff seem very professional and helpful.The staff keep a careful but yet watchful eye on their clients. The housekeepers Keep a clean facility as well! I'm pretty impressed and my family that is cared for there seems to be well taken care of and most importantly happy...
My experience has been extremely positive with the care my sister has received over the past 3 weeks. From the staff’s professionalism, care, and responsiveness to the facility’s in-room and public area’s cleanliness, heartfelt praise for the entire team’s efforts!!! Also impressed with the longevity/tenure of numerous staff - 20 yrs+ - speaks volumes!
