Horrible place. Crowded, noisy, chaotic. Lights on all night, TV in the community room blaring, patients wandering the hallways. A nurse came on duty and was angry because all of her patients call lights were on and no one was answering. Over crowded and understaffed. I lasted a few hours and had to leave.

I was here two years ago, I can't believe it has four stars. The place is disgusting, and it constantly smelled like pee. The overnight nursing staff would literally be ASLEEP with a blanket and their feet up in the small day room while there were call lights on. I am young and have my mental faculties about me, I think they are used to dealing with people who cannot walk and advocate for themselves. They literally stole my comfort meds, lied and said they gave them to me as if I wouldn't remember whether or not they did. I was on IV antibiotics and they need to be administered with fluids and they have me tje wrong size bag, giving me an allergic reaction and all I needed was some benedryl and they refused it, even though it was their fault I was having this reaction. When I left, I was not given all my meds because the lady said she'd have to go one extra step to get them for me (contact a manager or something easy like that) so I just wasn't given them.
This was our 1st time visiting my nephew AR Yeadon Rehab & Nursing Manor. I can honestly say that every single employee we met was friendly, kind & courteous to us. That was a very pleasant surprise! This was a nice somewhat sub-urban location, all parking is convenient to the front entrance which had an automatic front entrance, great for wheel chairs! There is a nice covered outside sitting area with tables and chairs for taking him just outside the medium sized facility to enjoy some fresh air and private conversation, if desired. Security and check in protocol seems appropriate and efficiently, took a few minutes, even with pictures taken. It was a pleasant visit without unnecessary "nosey" interruptions from either other patients, guests or employees, we happily
The staff were very nice, helpful, cheerful and professional. The facility was clean and hand sanitizer was readily accessible. I was there during lunch time and everyone was served within a timely manner. They appeared to be enjoying their meal. There were many articles posted regarding services that were available at the center and in the community. The center displayed a list of activities for Black History Month and upcoming events for the rest of the year. I felt very welcomed and encouraged to return.
On August 27, 2024 there was a woman by the name of Sharon Hall, who was very rude and disrespectful to me. Despite being an elder woman she had the nerve to rush me at the door to tell me that’s not where deliveries go. When the door was locked and I couldn’t get in and she could’ve just said it politely and professionally. She continued to circle around me in an aggressive manner which me me feel extremely uncomfortable. She than pursued to tell me that she has 5 sons, insinuating that she will get them to hurt me. Who ever is in upper management should check the cameras in the lobby on again, Aug 27, 2024 at 4pm.
