My sister’s Nurse Shola was incredible. My sister had her moments and somehow Shola could calm her and even make her smile. The rehab team was on point with working on what she needed to get home and be safe.

Special shout out to Crystal Fahy, Business Office Manager, as she helped me navigate the complicated health care management system She was incredibly patient with all my questions. She kept me abreast every step of the way, and provided clear and concise directions along the complicate word process. She made it painless for me to follow along. Always a text of phone call away. Frankly, could’ve not done it without her. Forever grateful for all her help! 🤗
Hard to get thru to anyone. Phones ring and no one rarely answers. Aides and nurses don't rely messages if you leave a message. Hard to talk to my mothers Dr. Josphenia the head nurse is the one to speak to if you want any answers. Visiting my mom numerous times for hours you rarely see an aide come in to check on her. Her room mate has looked out for my mom too. Gets nasty comments when she speaks up for my mom. Major language barriers too . My mother is in rehab due to a stroke and still isn't walking. The staff has been told she also has back issues which need to be worked on also and especially after her stroke. Very disappointed especially since this place was rated very highly.
I was there for 10days and fought really hard to transfer to a more medically based program as I was there for rehab. I came in on Friday and basically had no therapy till Monday. As the CNA‘s rarely came in my room came in when I push the button, I taught myself to hop to the bathroom by using a walker. I can’t say much that was good about this place except for a couple of exceptional nurses. And even they were giving out the wrong medication because it was entered into the computer wrong. I actually got quite sick because they were giving me the wrong dosage of medicine. They also did not give Pain medicine out correctly. or if they couldn’t find the medicine, they will just say that they’ll tell you they’re out of it. They only gave it out during daytime so you had to go sometimes 12 hours because nobody worked in the rehab section from 830 to 7 every day and by the time to get around to you it might be 930 so you’ve gone without pain pills for half a day and believe me, I was in excruciating pain at night, And everyone was resistant to change when the doctor changed the medicine to every six hours so I at least have four or five hours of some relief during the night. And that only happened my last few days.. The room is old and non-descriptive it does not have an updated Bed that I needed to keep my feet , legs over my heart I spent 23 hours a day in my bed because they didn’t have any chairs that keep my feet on the floor. The blinds didn’t go all the way down so I had lights in my windows all the time because the entrance was out there. for the most part of food was horrible, although they do make a mean Grilled cheese sandwich. I. probably lost weight in the 10 days I was there. Now I’m hoping I might be the exception of the rule but most of my CNAs spent about five minutes a day with me. I had one that worked really, really hard to stay away from me.She always had an excuse of why she couldn’t stay a few times I did ask her to do something. The only time she really did something when a supervisor told me to tell her to make my bed and she started to give a reason why she couldn’t until I said, your boss said to do it, And even then it took a four hours.. Being I can see my neighbors the ones that she would have also she was not with them, so I’m not sure where she was but that’s not my concern anymore. I spent 23 hours a day laying in bed, wanting to look forward to my meals but except for breakfast , the food was pretty gross. When you get there, you’ll fill out a menu and then they pretty much give you what they want . I am unable to have citrus every day. I have an orange juice. I didn’t mind I hot cereal,, they always managed to forget milk. Yeah I’m not a fan. I would suggest going elsewhere. again, depending on who your CNA is, the help button is only as good as your CNA.. Finally, pretty much took an act of God to get out of here. I cannot speak about the long-term care, But the rehab section Leaves much to be desired. Although they did come in every day and sweep, I would say for the most part, It is not clean. My bathroom is dirty looking. And again, depending on your CNA,You may not get towels if you don’t ask.Until recently, it was called manor care, And pictures that you see online, well I haven’t found those places yet.
This place is awful!!! Do NOT trust the reviews that you read below...if you look through them it looks like they told their staff to write 5 star reviews to get their rating to pop up! Crazy!!! This company is falling apart from the building to the staff. My aunt was there for a month and she said hell would be better than going back to this place. The nursing staff have ratios that I never even heard of before, over 15 patients per nurse and techs. It is absolutely unsafe...these nurses do not have enough time to spend with each patient to get the proper care they should receive! Really do your self a favor and place your loved one somewhere else besides here!
