This is BY FAR the best nursing home in the Central Louisiana area. They have taken EVERY precaution when it comes to COVID and they don't have a single positive case! I would recommend this nursing home over any in the entire state!!

I've experienced a extremely disrespectful and inconsiderate staff and very neglectful staffing at this nursing home. My client has been neglected in areas of medications and bathing and bed cleaning..on other occasions her was in dining room area and blood pressure was extremely low and 2 aides took his blood pressure and then a nurse took it and she disrespected my client and myself and realized her anger and appolige after..ive come to the nursing home with my other client and found my client struggling alone trying to come out of his bathroom and I helped him to his bed and contacted the nurseon duty and explained to her that my client was in need of a doctor's care and medicine to be adjusted..she got mad and nervous and told me and his wife it was the holidays and no places would take him..i asked nicely if she could at least try...she did with much disrespect and verbal communication and then come back to tell us that a ambulance would be there soon to transport him..he spent 3 weeks at hospital and returned back this week to the nursing home where he is now sick with a stomach bug that's going around the nursing home. We checked on him yesterday and he can barely get up..im a caregiver for him and his wife. I've been working for them 5 years and i know them very,very well..i also know that respect needs to be applied in any facility or home and I'm disgusted with the care and staffing at wood haven nursing home in pollock la.
