I would like to pass on my sincere thanks to Lanie Sagun - Centre Manager of Woodport Aged Care Centre in Erina NSW owned by the Salvation Army Organisation. The amazing support they have given my mother during her Respite stay was extended twice during my time off as a carer for health treatments was absolutely phenomenal. From Lanie Sagun to her Team Lead Bronwyn Dickson who looks after all nurses including the administration staff was something I've never experimented from any other Aged Care where I put my mother in the past. Their professionalism is very much appreciated which has not gone unnoticed. It has been such a positive experience communicating with each one of them in just under 3 months, they have all shown my mother and myself as a carer their kindness, care, and professionalism. Not only by supporting my mother during her stay, but most importantly, it helps me progress with my own treatments whilst battling mental health. One thing i learn from all this experience, the care and happiness i keep receiving every time i come around to visit my mother puts so much confidence in me by trusting them, especially the care nature of their administration officer who greets all visitors at the front desk (Debra) really makes a big difference before I even go in to see my mother. Debra is a very special kind lady who i adore so much. To Lanie Sagun, having you as a Centre Manager has been exceptionally impactful on me and my mental health. I am very grateful for the opportunity you have granted my mother and myself as a carer. The way you lead your team is admirable and constantly inspires me. Thank you for your outstanding leadership and the way you handle issues as they arise and find practical solutions with ease. My mother would also like to pass on her sincere thanks to some of your staff who she has made a close bond with, such as Sam who runs all your activities, and all nurses she can't remember names, she has been talking about how special they all were towards her whilst residing in your Facility. I hope you continue to lead your team into more future excitements to provide all your residents more joy to live comfortably. You are knowledgeable, decisive, and resilient, and I could not imagine someone else leading your team. Thank you once again for your continuous support towards my mother and myself when she was residing in your Facility. May God Bless you and all your staff members with families. With my sincere gratitude and personal kindest Regards. I would give you 1000 plus marks out of 10 scores. Whoever is going to read my remarks, I recommend this great place for your elderlies or anyone in your families.💝🙏

There were friendly and seemed caring, but there are not enough staff. People call for help repeatedly and no one responded. The doors shut and are unattended at 4 pm so you can’t visit easily. There is no mobile phone coverage so you can’t Skype remote family from the room. There was a phone but not in the room. It took me 4 days of trying to successfully ring in to speak to my Mom. My Mom was left in her room alone and immobile with no TV or entertainment for 1.5 weeks. She slept or looked at the wall. She was showered, changed, fed and medicated. But that was it.
I'm very disappointed to say the least. My family moved my father-in-law here for emergency respite (He has advanced dementia). We ended up taking him straight to hospital after only 8 days because his legs & feet were so swollen & discoloured. We were not notified of his health at any time! He also said he was "Starving", so we have no idea how often the residents are fed. Very traumatic & heartbreaking.
Excellent service wonderful food very caring staff
