My hours where reduced to 4 hours a week they wouldn't let me use my pto to make up for the hours they cut. They said i was trying to commit frad. So i decided not to go back And after I was fired they did pay out my pto 33 hours pto. There claiming that I used 4 hours and took the rest as repayment for a crma cores I never ended up taking. This place is a scame and are only in it for the money. And the way the workers and residents are treated is unbelievable. They keep staff that don't do anything but kiss up to the administration and fire all the worker who go above and beyond for the residents. Because the way they tell you to do thing there violates residents rights, hippa, and it borderline neglect. They run with the bare minimum staff for 60+ resdent witch is typically 2 on the left 3 on the right and 1 medteck for both sides. I was uncertified doing cares including using the Hoyer, and sit to stand. I always handed cups of meds to pass out to residents. Workers are constantly on their phones.Making phone calls, video chatting, taking pictures and videos. Yet they're state certified somehow.

We visited this facility at the recommendation of a friend who had placed her father there. She raved about the wonderful care and unique environment for declining patients with brain degeneration issues. Our tour was wonderful, the administrator is compassionate, engaged with residents and you can feel her passion throughout the place. It is evident that the residents feel cared for and the place has such a warm and homey feel. We are hoping our family member can find a place here.
This is not my real account. But to be afraid of actually talking about this place is self explanatory. Communication here is not there. Last second everything. Higher-ups have no idea, and cannot Communicate directly to their staff. There's always a favorite staff, and in genral a toxic work environment. Being gaslit here is to be expected. I worked hard for disrespect and not to be listened to. Staff are mostly good people. There's alwyas a broken crayon in the box. Staff need to be treated better 🤷♀️ mental health is real! Please be aware of those around you
My sister has been a resident at Woodlands in Lewiston for the past 6 months. We are extremely pleased with the facility and the staff. I have visited her at different times of the day and always found her to be well cared for and treated with respect. The staff is experienced in helping those with dementia and I’ve witnessed incidents where they compassionately and appropriately assisted a resident in need. Recently, my sister developed “aspiration pneumonia”. I had visited with her on Monday and she was fine. On Wednesday, the evening shift noticed that she was not herself and alerted nurse Nicky who quickly assessed the situation and recommended that she be seen by her physician as soon as possible. She was treated at the facility per her doctor’s orders and responded well to treatment. Her doctor told us that if she had not been treated early, she would certainly have been hospitalized and her outcome may have been quite different. Thank you Nicky and the entire caring and attentive staff!
My wife and I visited Woodlands recently for a tour of the facility and it was very clean and was impressed with staff and amenities. In particular, Elizabeth gave us the grand tour and she was very informative and professional not to mention beaming with positive energy.
