My 95 y.o. mother moved into Woodland Village--assisted living about 2 weeks ago. I have waited to do a review until she was in and settled. I could have done the same review I am doing now as when I first had contact with the Sales Counselor--Debbie Edwards to learn about WV and determine if it was a good fit for my mother and family. I knew from the moment I walked into the facility that it was perfect. I loved the setting and atmosphere immediately. Then I met Debbie...and I cannot stress enough how incredible she is at what she does. I needed a lot of hand holding as the decision and actual move of my mom had it's challenges...mom had been in her home for 67 years. Debbie always had a way to get me grounded again by the time our meetings were completed. Her knowledge and kindness made the decision that WV was...very much the place for mom. The rest of the staff and all associated with the running of the facility and care for mom is wonderful. Thank you Woodland Village and those that have made it truly a pleasurable experience!!!

Moved my Mom into Woodland about 4 weeks ago and we couldn’t be happier. She loves her updated apartment with its beautiful and fully appointed kitchen. They have already made it feel like home for her and she feels like part of the “family”. I love seeing her new found enthusiasm to get involved and make friends. Thank you to this fantastic team of professionals!!
As a moving company, we have had the pleasure of working with many senior homes, but Woodland Village is truly exceptional. Not only is their facility well-maintained and equipped with all the necessary amenities, but their staff's dedication to providing exceptional care to their residents is second to none. Throughout the move, we were able to observe firsthand how the staff went above and beyond to ensure that the residents were comfortable and well-cared for. They were patient, compassionate, and always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. It was clear that the staff took the time to get to know each resident personally, understanding their unique needs and preferences. They made sure that each resident's individual care plan was followed and that they received the proper attention and care that they needed. The staff was also very accommodating to our needs as a moving company. They provided us with clear instructions and directions, ensuring that the move was a smooth and efficient process. Overall, we were thoroughly impressed with Woodland Village and their exceptional level of care for their residents. It's clear that they take their role in providing a safe and comfortable home for seniors very seriously. We would highly recommend them to anyone in need of a senior living facility. Five stars all around!
This is a wonderful retirement community! The grounds are wooded and picturesque, with walking paths and gardens. The staff truly loves their residents like family. Residents are offered unique and engaging activities and have lots of opportunities to exercise. The location is perfect, with easy access to healthcare services. The food is all made from scratch with great variety! Highly recommend!
My father was a resident for about 6 months, first on the independent living side then moved to assissted. I am still amazed about the care he got on both sides of the building, the staff there goes about and beyond in so many ways. My dad was on hospice care and the night shift support lady knew his life history, she said he wasn't sleeping much so they had talked a lot, sang Christmas songs, a very kind lady... and there were many there just like her. Dealing with the eldery is not an easy job and Woodland Village has seemed to hire many that really do care.
