We are a big family here that take care of each other whether it be Residents or Staff. I love working where the staff truly care about our/your loved ones and we get to know them on a much deeper level. Most of the staff can tell you a residents likes and dislikes, what makes them happy or sad. We have a good solid team here at Woodland Manor and we are all striving each day to make this a better place to live as well as work. Recently, we have made some cosmetic changes and will continue to make Woodland Manor an amazing place for your family member to come for Rehab or to live Long Term. You know our hearts are in the right place when we cry as we say goodbye to those that have touched our hearts. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not leave your family member here… The facility is disgusting, floors are caving up from urine sitting on it, rooms are full of fire hazards due to (bed setup, AC units hanging off the walls, and many more things). The ADON doesn’t care about the residents she only cares about her jewelry business on the side so any problems addressed to her is like speaking to a wall, INCLUDING asking for paper towels for staff to wash their hands properly ( yes you heard that right they have to ask the ADON or DON for paper towels, and trash bags…). Not even just that the Management took away towels and sheets because the CNAs were “using too many”… The facility doesn’t staff the floors currently, they neglect all their residents, feed them food you wouldn’t even feed a dog. The facilities never have enough supplies including but not limited to: briefs, pull-ups, wipes, deodorant, body wash, water cups, clean and doesn’t have holes sheets for the beds… The “housekeeping” doesn’t clean anything AT ALL, all clothes get washed together, resident rooms don’t get wiped down, swept or mopped…. This facility needs to be condemned… I’m tired of hearing “no funding” THEN YOU NEED TO JUST SHUT DOWN IF YOU CAN HAVE THE BASIC NEEDS MET FOR THESE PEOPLE. ;)
I have been here at Woodland Manor for 3 months, and I am sad to leave today. The therapy department is phenomenal, the entire team is compassionate and very friendly. The building is clean and welcoming. Excited to return home!
I love the staff and residents here at Woodland Manor. We work well as a team and enjoy caring for the residents. Activities are fun and exciting. Their hugs and smiles just make your day.
Woodland manor has a great staff they were very helpful and nice to be around. I enjoyed the positive energy they had as they helped me through therapy. I really appreciate all of the staff that treated with respect an encouraging ment.
