We choose Montage Hills over several other assisted living communities in the area mostly due to how warm and close the community seemed. Everyone we met was wonderful and Hani, the head of operations, was so sweet to my Mom and we could tell she really cared for the residents and the staff. Since move in, my mother has been happy with everything and she have mad friends. We are thrilled that she is fitting in and is happy.

***UPDATE*** They DO NOT take feedback seriously. I have repeatedly called and tried to get a hold of their Executive Director - they are total liars. No one calls me back and they either hang up on me or send me to voicemail. They refuse to acknowledge they are trying to steal $2700 from a woman their lack of care almost killed. They continually lie and say my mother rescinded her notice when she did not and they cannot provide written proof of this. We have had to go to our bank and make a claim against their charge but I cannot get anyone on the phone ever and will have to escalate this. Since they changed ownership they sent my mother to the ER twice and dropped another resident who also went to the ER and then a skilled facility as a result. This is very dangerous care. I reiterate that I would NOT let my loved one stay here. This is written March 2nd 2025. If you are thinking of this place - think again. Happy to communicate with anyone looking to put family here and show proof of what they did. Families and Elderly, Please stay FAR away from this place. About 3 months ago they were taken over by a new corporation in California. They immediately raised prices and cut amenities - starting with the food. Dinners became grilled cheese with highly processed food. High in sodium, low in nutrition. My mother is a high risk for infection (which they know) and 3 times in the last 3 months she had to go to the ER. The last time she ran a fever for over 4 days before they finally called an ambulance and when she was rushed to the hospital she was SEPSIS and almost had her leg amputated at the hip! Thankfully her infectious disease doctor saved her leg. About 40 days prior to this incident my mother sent her 30 day notice so when this happened I cleaned out her room and told the staff her notice was definitely in effect. Well guess what? Yep - they just put through a charge for ANOTHER MONTH. When I called them about it Alexa hung up on me and then refused to answer my calls after that forcing me to pursue other recourse. I know for a fact other residents were taken to the hospital based on something that happened to them as a result of the care provided. My mother doesn't need memory care - luckily she is super with it and told me what was happening to her there - but imagine if your family member could not do that? How would you know what is happening to them? Summary: Stole money and refusing to respond or refund knowing full well notice was sent. - Endangered my family member's life in a serious way by not getting her the care she needed in a timely manner. - charges for every thing (like for pets) even though residents have to pay someone separately to come in and truly care for the pet (despite the facility charging for it). - raises prices every year but degrades the services - Horrible food - high in sodium, chemicals, low nutrition - my mother's cholesterol jumped since living there so has her blood pressure and other issues in her blood work. If you value your family member please DO NOT bring them here. AVOID if you value your health and life.
After touring over 9 communities we made the decision to go with Woodland Estates. The main thing we noticed was the dedication and sense of responsibility the entire care team had. The quality of the care is way above what we found in other buildings. Although there are newer building in the area and our budget was big enough to pay the extra for them we felt this one would be a better fit for us.
I am a physical therapist that does home health treatments for some of the residents at Montage Hills. I am impressed with the kind, sincere, and engaging staff here. The caregivers genuinely enjoy their time with the residents. The activities provided for the residents seem fun and are well attended. I have been to several assisted living facilities and this one is my favorite. I highly recommend this location.
I recently moved my mother from an assisted living in CA to Montage Hills so I could be closer to her. My experience with Montage so far as been wonderful! Beginning with the business and admissions staff and right on through to move in day and then every day living, i have no complaints whatsoever and neither does my mom. Sydney is fantastic; she handled so many details from initial contact through interview, room selection, and introductions to staff etc. She was organized and efficient, and she did what she said she would do at every turn. I appreciated her attention to detail and prompt responses to my many questions. All the staff are caring, kind, and go out of their way to make the tenants feel at home and loved. Great place- what a find!
