My sisters & I were very pleased with our visit this afternoon! The first floor was nice & clean. It didn’t have any odors. The receptionist was very friendly. The only complaint I have was, the room is very small & no where for anyone to sit down. We only stayed for a few minutes.

Many people don't have info they need to report things so enlight of what has been occurring at many nursing facilities and recently whats been uncovered in Colonial Heights facility, I wanted to share info incase anyone needs it. THIS IS NOT DIRECTLY ABOUT THIS FACILITY just to reach people that may need this. To report instances of poor care in Virginia nursing facilities, you should contact the Virginia Department of Health's Office of Licensure and Certification (OLC), specifically their Complaint Unit, by calling 1-800-955-1819 or (804) 367-2106, or by submitting a complaint form online or via mail
Hello Wonder city 🏙️ l really Enjoy my time with you guys it was a great experience and would be 😃 glad to return any time. Thank you so much for your time and you allow us to be there. Thanks 😊😊😊👍.
Most of the nurses are lazy. They will not help you with anything they only look for you instead of helping out with simple things. One nurse walked in while I was giving a shower to ask me to do smoke break when she knew we only had four aids and was working short. Another nurse want to be CEO so bad at night she’s to loud controlling and irritating. Even the patient said that. You have to do exactly what she say when she say it like you’re a child. They pile up the work and will not help not even with vitals. They sit at the nurse station until 5am they are finish by 6am and make us do everything. And why as a CNA I have to dump big bags of trash alone and linen that the entire shift use. That’s not a CNA job and we already have enough work to do. Showers, feeding, vital, dump trash , pass ice, toileting, dressing & do vitals 14 to 16 patients each 3 feeders in 8 hours. You do the math. I had to pay a guy to help me with the trash it was so much. We are not strong men and should not be taking out trash. A few nurses talk to you like you’re beneath them. This is why I started my own business it’s like this everywhere. Overworked, underpaid
The facility was very clean the residents looked good and healthy The staff was very courtesy and helpful
