39 Clipper Dr, Wolfeboro, NH 03894, United States
Being a part of this team is almost a dream come true. We have accomplished so much together in the last few months and look forward to continuing on this amazing journey. The gardens and grounds are beautiful, the rehabilitation gym is spacious, and furnished with state-of-the-art equipment, staffed with the finest professionals in their respected fields, and our clinical team is outstanding. There is no place I would rather be than at The Bay.

What a great place! Love visiting here, the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Great looking center!
The medical staff are some of the most caring and empathetic people I've met working in healthcare. Every single person I interacted with knew my loved on, and said something nice about them (which wasn't warranted). My loved one is always clean, hygiene addressed, safe and checked in on. They are fiercely protective of my loved one and take every possible measure to address any concerns to the best of their ability. There are plenty of times I have witnessed them running non-stop the whole shift, as the call bells are going off constantly, people asking for stuff, etc. They go the extra mile to provide people with the TLC they're needing and looking for. The staff are often tasked with caring for some real tough cases and handle it beautifully. Whatever the staff is being paid, it isn't enough. The actual facility itself could use some love, but I am sure like any place at this moment, funds are tight. If Genesis as a whole could focus on this facility and give them the support they so desperately need, it would go a long way.
I will never recommend this facility to any travelers. From the moment I and my traveling partner stepped foot into those doors it was an issue. No orientation was given which was fine with me I answered my call lights and the other CNA’s call light and sat on my hall after each round so that my nurse could see me only for the next day to get reported to my recruiter that I was sitting in the hallway visible like I thought I should. Next day I come to work everything was fine only to get reported saying that my travel partner and I both were wearing boots and wasn’t in appropriate uniform which was a lie because everyday we worked we had the appropriate attire on and remind you now it was only my third day and falsified complaints kept coming in to my recruiter which just gave me vibes that our skin tone wasn’t wanted in that facility and I’ve been to plenty of facilities with no issues until now.
After a long journey of caring for our mother at home, it was time to find a place where she could be taken care of at the level we could not provide. I submitted over 15 applications to nursing homes, and the first one to reach out and guide me through the entire process were the folks at Genesis. I was impressed on how quickly they took to our mothers needs and made room for her at Wolfeboro Bay Center within a week of getting her application. The staff has been incredibly kind, and understanding during this difficult time for us, but importantly for our mother. They have provided weekly updates and always quick to respond when there are questions or concerns. The facility could use a little TLC, but what is most important to us is that our mother is cared for as though she is their own family member, and that is what we feel. A special thank you to, Diane, Rachel, Sue, and Amber for all your assistance and care that you put into your job and the residents. We appreciate you!
