So I would first like to thank all the nurses for the great work and support for my mom, that applies to the 3rd floor. You were great. But the rest of the home it starts with the registration and ends in the kitchen is not recommended. Cleanliness and hygiene there is not something anyone knows about. Every three weeks it was wiped with a damp cloth, thick spiders web between cupboards, food crumbs under the bed and and and... well I complained several times by email AND by phone and nothing helped. I could write a book about this home "it's a shame it's like that" in short and succinctly "I can't recommend it. I would be ashamed of it.

My mom had been in the Hanau residential center since the end of August! Unfortunately a terrible diagnosis meant we had to place her in a nursing home 😢! From the first day until her death today on December 18th, 2023, Mom was lovingly cared for there, both by the nurses and by the palliative team, who were always available to us as relatives, no matter what time of day!! We met them, the nurses with ❤️! Words were always followed by actions and everything was done to make sure mom was well there 🥰! That was the best thing that could have happened to us! We as a family would like to thank you for taking such great and loving care of our mom and for accompanying her on her final journey! We are eternally grateful to you for that! 🤲❤️
Well, total confusion. Tablets were kept and even after the third trip there they didn't show up. 40km for free every time. The ward smells unbelievably of feces because the door to the room is always open. Didn't find the atmosphere nice and loving. If you're lucky you'll find a nurse on the ward. If you have questions, you wait forever in front of the nurse's door until someone comes. And based on the answers, no one there can help. Kind of sad. I hope that when I get older I'll just pass out and never have to go there
This week I wanted to visit one of your residents, but a longer stay in this building was not possible. As soon as you enter the second floor, the smell is unbearable and now the question arises, how is it possible that it smells so strongly of urine? I've seen the whole thing before and thought that it might happen once when the diapers had just been changed. But there's always that smell on the second floor. I think it's a catastrophic condition in which the residents live there. The whole thing should be controlled directly by someone.
I would like to say a lot of praise. My grandmother was cared for in a residential facility for a short time after a severe stroke. From the administration to the nursing staff, everyone was very friendly and accommodating. Since my family and I checked on my grandma every day, we really couldn't find anything negative. The rooms were clean, bright and friendly. The sanitary facilities were cleaned regularly, my grandmother lay in bed every day with a fresh, washed nightgown. She was really checked on at regular intervals. Our questions were answered immediately and we were also given advice on how we could best get noticed by her. Unfortunately, my grandma died yesterday afternoon from the severe consequences of the stroke😭 but I also have to mention here that we were notified early on and were allowed to stay with my grandma while she fell asleep. We were treated with a lot of empathy and understanding across the board. And I would also like to mention that my grandmother was accompanied by a very kind, sensitive doctor. So I can't understand some of the negative feedback here, nor can my family. To the whole team, it's nice to have you❤️ Kind regards, The flower fairy 😘
