I was initially hesitant about choosing Wilshire for my grandmother due to some reviews, but I’m so glad we did! From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm and welcoming, and her room was spotless. She stayed in the 600 hall for therapy, which turned out to be exceptional. The therapists were attentive and professional, and my grandmother absolutely adored the staff. The social worker and admissions girl were incredibly helpful, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. I’m beyond grateful for the care and kindness everyone at Wilshire showed her! thank you all so much!

Grandma Molly called me on her first day at the rehab raving about the staff’s patience towards her. As a worried granddaughter, a happy grandma is all I want to see. Thank you Shay for your wonderful advice and help with settling in! You made the process so easy and smooth as I do live long distance and couldn’t be there as much as I wish. My grandma is a sweet soul but does have a hard time adjusting to new settings and to hear her so chipper so quickly is the greatest blessing! Wilshire, you are the blessing we all needed. Thank you for your service! Highly recommend!
Wilshire is not the place you want your loved one to be. Staff is continuously turning over. Staff does not know the needs of the residents. Housekeeping does not clean on a regular basis. Place smells like urine and sometimes raw sewage. AC will sometimes go out on hot summer days....their remedy--bring residents out to the center hall and give them Popsicles. Meds were recorded as being administered when they were not. We would have to go out at all times of the day to take care of our loved one....sometimes at 10pm, midnight, 2am, 3am, 8am. One time we went out around 10pm. Could find no staff in the building. Went to leave after caring for our loved one only to find about 10 staff members in the parking lot smoking marijuana. Code for entering the front door after hours is posted by the keypad which would allow anyone to come in. There were only a handful of employees who showed true compassion. Majority did not. Filed many grievances. No one deserves the lack of care these residents endure.
The young lady Kiya was kind and helpful and respectful she always has positive energy when it comes to the residents needs. With her Beautiful Smile. This establishment is a nice place for those who need assistance. I would recommend it.
From my experience at this facility, please don’t take loved one to Wilshire. I question all the five star reviews made on the same day - looks like some could be from employees or from the owner Luxor, almost same word for word review. Please thoroughly investigate before putting loved one in this facility.
