Willowick is close to heaven on earth. The staff are angels and the food is manna. I wish everyone could experience the bliss that is Willowick.

Wonderful place! Needed to find a facility for my brother quickly. Willowick had an opening, took him in and treated him like family from day one. Great staff from top to bottom that really care. If I have questions, the staff gets answers immediately. Amenities are perfect for my brother, who is a little younger but it's full of sports fans so he fit right in! Nice outdoor space, two large sitting rooms inside with TV's. Secure building with pass codes needed to enter and exit. And he loves the food as well! I sleep well knowing my brother is in a safe place and so well cared for.
The staff here is amazing. Dawn and her staff have never failed when it's come to taking care of my mom right up until she took her last breath. The facility is always clean and all the staff make it feel like home. My mom loved it here and loved all the staff. If you're looking for a great place for your loved one to land this it.
Our family has been put thru the ringer this year to put it mildly. We were looking for memory care placement for grandma and in the process of looking for a facility, grandpa was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Willowick took them both in, allowing them to spend grandpa's final days together. No other facility in the area was willing, as he didn't 'need' memory care. 8 months later, they allowed my aunt to move in with grandma during her final days, allowing grandma to love on her daughter till the very end. 2 months later grandma died. In 10 months they have witnessed our family lose 3 family members. Not only that, they became part of our family. They loved on our family members as if they were their own. We would find them bedside, snuggled up with them for comfort, they sang, they danced, and they held hands. They made sure if we were not there, there was still love surrounding them. They sent us pictures and videos to reassure us when we were scared. They loved on us when we needed it too. I am sure I could find things to complain about, anyone can do that. However, I know that Willowick provided something that can't be measured, they provided love and compassion. Shanon, Dawn, Trevor, Anita, Alisha, and Kim were absolutely amazing with our family. They worked amazing with hospice and made sure needs were communicated quickly when needed. And after each love one passed, they showed the same amount of love and compassion until the funeral home arrived. That amount of caring is a true calling. You can not train someone to love and care deeply for residents, it is a gift. I am truly thankful that in the midst of all of our losses, they were there to buoy us up as well.
Willowick has a wonderful nurse! Celia really cares about the residents and shares things with the families. Especially during Covid-19, when our visits are limited, it's so nice to have someone reassuring us. Connie, the chef, always goes out of her way to be kind to everyone. She knows every resident by name, and what they like and don't like. These are the kind of people that make a difference.
