It really does indeed take a village of caring, kind, big-hearted people. Dining room, hallways, and wood floors all have that homey, cozy feel. My grandparents were residents at Wickshire Tamarac for several years, and I can’t express enough how grateful we are for the care and support they received during their time there. The staff is exceptionally kind and attentive, and the facility is always clean and well-maintained. They really take the time to make each resident feel like part of a family. My mother has been a resident of Wickshire Tamarac since 2020. She began in assisted living and currently lives in the memory care facility. Because I live in NY, I rely heavily on the staff to ensure my mom's needs are met. When my mom was recently hospitalized, Anthony, the Memory Care director, went above and beyond to communicate her status to me and ensure she was well cared for by both the hospital and rehab center and that she had everything she needed when she returned home to Wickshire. The entire staff always looks after mom with love. I am grateful that we chose Wickshire for my mom.
Wickshire of Tamarac is absolutely the most beautiful and elegant residence we could ever find for mom! Although the magnificent decor & living amenities are 5 -STAR, and the live music & entertainment is never ending, it is the passion and love the entire nursing staff, Kitchen staff, and other full time staff shower mom with every morning, noon, and night that makes Wickshire Exceptional ! My family is profoundly blessed by the love and care and beauty and elegance that is mom’s new life as she battles with Assisted living, and most recently memory care needs.
