Our experience with moving my mother into Whitney Place has been truly incredible. It took a very long time for my mother to realize that she could no longer live alone in her house - it was a very hard decision for her. But Jonathan and the team at Whitney Place went above and beyond to make this change for her not only as smooth as possible, but something she is genuinely excited about. The residence itself is beautiful and bustling with activity, the food is top notch, and the staff have been amazing.
The Whitney Place is absolutely one of the best assisted living residences I have visited in Massachusetts, and I have been to well over a dozen. I would want my grandparents (or parents) to live in just such a place! Is it the accommodations, the ambiance, the attention to detail, the community, the activities, or the design of the units/main building interface? Or is it the safety, security, or the overall commitment to quality in everything (especially the food)? Is it the mobility, the access to nature, or the well lit spaces? Or perhaps it is the personal connection available to each individual (the staff obviously care a lot and demonstrate a genuine courteous respect)? Indeed, what makes this place so very special (and worthy of 5 stars) are all of the above details! These features are the direct result of excellence in top-down leadership by Jeff Sellers of Salmon. The directors are all top notch (especially Jonathan and Mary Louise who exhibit a contagious vivacious energy in their daily work). They are exactly the type of professionals who I would want to be in charge of the residence chosen for my loved ones.
Recently move my mom into the Tapestry program at Whitney Medway. Could not be happier with the move, the care and support. From the sales team to the nurses and aides in the program, everyone was/is so wonderful to work with. Most importantly, the care and services have exceeded all expectations. My only complaint? I haven't beaten the pop-a-shot record in the game room...yet.
We recently moved my sister from Texas to The Willows in Medway. It was a truly welcoming experience from beginning to end. Jonathan Terlaje in Sales helped us over each hurdle, was responsive to our many questions and concerns, and helped us all negotiate a very complicated move. Once there, Jeff Gould and Ken Bancewicz in Maintenance were so great about assembling a couple of pieces of furniture we couldn't manage on our own, promptly making some small fixes in the apartment, and then hanging numerous pieces of artwork. We are so grateful! And Gladys and Oggie in the bistro made and served us wonderful lunches as we plowed through the work of settling my sister in her new home. Other staff have also been warm and welcoming, and we so appreciate that we found the best place for my sister!
