My mother was just removed from there from the department of aging that showed up. I think that man help save her life. He assured that she was put straight in an ambulance and taken to a hospital to be looked at. In 2 weeks her oxygen disconnected 3-4 times. At one point it dropped to 70%. You passed away by 67%. She was eating cold food they were not on time with medication. Bathroom issues you just had to wait. All you can hear is people yelling help in the hallways. If your loved one is sick and you feel you are not doing enough do not send them here. You are doing better than what they will receive there. As I sit here in tears I am so grateful that my mother is in the hospital now. The ER doctor stated she had a heart attack while under their care and nothing was even said to us. Thank god she isn't there anymore. DO NOT SEND ANYONE HERE

This place is terrible, people screaming for help the second you walk inside. They’re neglecting the elderly including my grandma. They push insurance or a bill to get more money. Food is cold or bad , making patients loose weight and wait for help for several minutes. They left patients on 24/7 oxygen unplugged which could kill them if their levels drop low enough. They charged my grandma for a shower and laundry. The social worker Laura is extremely unprofessional and rude. She stresses out the patients LYING about being discharged. Then they drug up the patients to not know what’s going on. No wonder there’s so many bad reviews we’re taking her out of here asap and she will never be back. They care more about a ‘unsuccessful discharge’ and the money more than the patients. Smfh .
Since my grandma has been there, she has experienced cold and bad food so she hasn’t been eating. She has lost a lot of weight while in their care (ongoing). After that we found out her oxygen was disconnected and dropping to 70% on 3/27 at 1AM VIA my grandmother NOT the doctor (it was actually a shock today during the meeting when we told them because “they had no idea”). People die at 67% oxygen levels. Her temperature was low and was calling for help. It took the staff a while to get there and she was complaining about her back. They took her for an x-ray for her back in the morning. Now all of a sudden she has pneumonia…. This is not the first time her oxygen was disconnected. They wouldn’t even help her to the bathroom. The social worker comes in and tells her, she is going to be discharged AFTER she had the x-ray stating she has pneumonia. My grandma was so worked up about leaving sickly. My mom called the facility and they informed her, she would be staying. So the social worker was lying and got my grandmother worked up, to the point she was waiting to leave. They stopped giving her breathing treatments and medications. It opened up with Laura stating about insurance that would end on Sunday 3/30. My gram applied for an appeal to stay but the facility wouldn’t know the decision until “sometime next week”. We were told by 2 separate staff and the social workers that they are clearing her to go home by Sunday. My mother asked if she would be alright to come home because of the pneumonia. They all said yes, she is alright. They said they would like to start hospice. My mother asked about if her appeal went through if could she were to stay there? They said yes but they wouldn’t know until later this week. It would cost my low income grandma $450 a day, and they would collect collateral (within 6 months). Suddenly Laura stated “she was denied” and started pushing new insurance on her. The social worker Laura got extremely defensive regarding a “unsuccessful discharge” and twisted my mother’s words to sound like she would be sending her back to the hospital as soon as she got home. More staffers began talking and getting involved. I’ve never in my career with the courts or federal work have heard a social worker speak to people like this. It was EXTREMELY unprofessional, she wouldnt even let us speak. We will be reporting her and looking into a lawsuit. The other staffer asked why we were so upset and my mother relived the story for her. They apologized because they didnt know she almost died in THEIR CARE!! This all blew up when my mom said she would call 911 if she needed to when MY GRAM WAS DISCHARGED if she was having issues at home. As we told her to not sign anything, the social worker said she cannot continue the conversation and had to do “other things”. My mother is power of attorney and we informed them they cannot have conversations without her. All they cared about was a “unsuccessful discharge”. As Laura was rudely trying to hang up on my mom, we said we would be calling the news and looking into possible lawsuit. We also said we would be reporting the caseworker and requested a new one. We have voice messages with time stamps from my gram about all of this. This is sickening that they treat elderly patients like this. The notes in cursive are from my grandmother and the other notes are from my sister regarding the meeting.
How in the hell are you going to have this place still up and running when the staff is literally letting the elderly die, like omg do your job? I'm surprised this place is still open, there's review's saying they've had loved ones pass away because of the staff neglecting the elderly, get a grip and do your job. "Skilled nurses" if your nurses are so skilled then I must be the next president of America, this place needs shut down asap.
The administration, kitchen, business office, and activity departments were all excellent, along with the physical therapy (PT) and occupational therapy (OT) services. While the food could be improved, they were making strides by switching vendors and suppliers. The building was very well-maintained, as the staff cleaned residents' rooms every day. If I ever needed a skilled nursing home again, this would be my choice.
