This facility is wonderful. The last time my MIL needed nursing care We chose the facility next to her retirement apartment. It was truly terrible. This time we chose White Oak. We couldn’t have been happier with her care. Every nurse and CNA were just amazing They took such good care of her and the other patients. They use the concept of neighborhood so it’s a little bit smaller group of patients. They have a common area for dining so there’s lots of interaction between patients. I would choose this facility for myself if I or my husband needed skilled care.

Laura Yow is a high school friend from 1959. I am happy that she is "happily" settled in enjoying as well as praising the staff, f byood and fellowship of her friends. Cleanliness and care were evident throughout the facility. White Oak is a terrific asset to the community and many families are at ease knowing their special loved one is safe and well cared for in their aging and often final days.
Very nice place my mom has been there 10 years or more. They take very good care of her there and they call me a lot with updates how she is doing or if any thing is wrong. Highly recommend this Home. Wish my sister Peggy Medlin could get a room there. She very much needs a Home like this to take care of her. Maybe 1 day. We keep on trying.
My Dad has dementia, COPD and a bad heart. The nurses assistants, nurses, Doctors and all of the staff has been so incredible! If he needs anything they are quick to respond! Never have we been happier anywhere else.
Food is bland - no flavor, no seasoning, no taste. Eileen has trouble eating it and therefore is not eating much at all. She is often nauseous after trying the food and throws up. She needs to be seen by a medical doctor to find out why she cannot eat and what is causing her nausea. While I am there (twice a day for about 2 to 3 hours at a time), we rarely see a nurse let alone a doctor and that is usually only to give her some meds. Her blood sugar is tested fairly frequently, but no other vitals are taken that I can determine. The one bright spot is physical therapy which seems to be working but probably needs to be more focused on getting her moving better. I recognize her pelvis fractures are a detriment but I do feel more could be done to move her along.
