I hope to not need a facility such as this anytime soon. My wife recently started working there and these are her words. "The staff was very welcoming and was very helpful during training and the residents seem happy and well taken care of". My Father lived there for 2 years. The staff was very friendly and patient with him. He had a beautiful apartment and enjoyed the music activities. He passed on December 30 2020 and the staff were amazing taking care of him and making his last days comfortable and peaceful. I would highly recommend this facility for your loved ones. I want to especially thank Barb. She made my Dad laugh a lot and was always compassionate and kind.
Just want to say thank you to all the staff at Whispering Pines Assisted Living near Lake City. Everyone was very kind to Mom, and she enjoyed her stay there. We enjoyed visiting any time. Of course, during covid things were difficult. But mom was well taken care of. I'm thankful that we found a place near enough for us to visit with kind and helpful staff.
My mother and her husband live at Belle Oakes and are so pleased with the living conditions here. The resident apartment rooms are spacious and safe and offer just the level of independent living they desire. The staff is very vigilant, professional and friendly and are so dedicated to the residents. My parents feel like they are part of the family here. I have visited, eaten several meals here and even stayed overnight with my parents. My step father is instrumental in planting, tending and harvesting in the garden which gives him a sense of pride. When searching for a home with everything you need remember to check out Belle Oakes. You will be very satisfied with what you find.
The staff were wonderful. They were very caring to our Mom and for our family. Sometimes we visited her at lunch time. The food always looked yummy. They also had activities if she chose to join. I'm glad she had a nice ,pleasant apartment to live in.
