We are the Liberty Magnet High Band and Dance Team Booster Club. We were honored to play for the Whealdon Estates Senior Living Community's residents. Our teenagers had an amazing experience, and we were welcomed like family by the staff and residents. The residents told us about their lives and expressed how much they enjoyed living at Whealdon. It was heartwarming to observe and hear how much the employees cared about the seniors there. We will definitely return and advise any senior looking for a new residence to pick this location. Our school dance program had the honor of visiting Whealdon Estates. We performed for the residents and had an opportunity to visit thereafter. We even had an opportunity to dine and the experience was top tier.
Our time at the facility was wonderful! The Liberty Magnet Band, which I am proud to direct, performed for the residents, and we enjoyed fellowshipping with them. The outdoor area was beautifully maintained, with well-kept flowers and landscaping. Inside, everything was clean and welcoming. They also had interactive activities like pool tables and a piano to keep the students engaged. Plus, the food was absolutely amazing! We look forward to returning to provide more entertainment and volunteer our time again!
As I entered Wheldon Estates, the prevailing atmosphere of warmth and positivity was readily apparent. The staff's authentic concern for residents' welfare is evident, and residents clearly relish their living environment. Throughout my training, I was greeted warmly and integrated seamlessly, as if I were an established colleague. The remarkable residents and staff have left an enduring impression on me.
First day back has been such a pleasure. I've seen many familiar faces as well as new ones. I am so grateful for my team and residents. A great place to call home!
