After another Silver Sneakers Exercise Class I was awestruck and stopped in my tracks by the clear bright wildflowers and hillside glory of our neighborhood. Encouraged by twice weekly classes I may have taken this photo on the way to a bus but I opted to walk to my next appointment- and walked home with groceries to boot! The food, cleanliness, therapy staff were good. The poor review comes from the fact the nurse swapped out pain meds with melatonin pills, after the complaint was made this nurse was allowed to return to work the next day. These facilities are not regulated like hospitals and was told there is no video surveillance of staff dispensing medication. Beware
Nice facility, good food, and clean. Good physical therapy and occupational therapy support. However, they are either under-staffed or the staff is not attentive enough. Our mother is there for transitional care and often has to wait long periods of time to get help going to the bathroom. We witnessed this first hand while visiting on two consecutive days recently.
