I liked the security provided to residents. Checking in was such a smooth process. Leaving my keys as a swap for the memory care access card is a great idea. People seemed cared for and at ease within the facility.

Westwood Ridge is an older building and does not meet the needs for many of the elderly and people with special needs. The rent and assisted living prices are on the high side, and most of the staff are good, however, there are a few unfavorable employees that have been there for years. Proceed at WWR with caution.
As a visitor staff friendly and respectful of my spouse. She stated that she had to wait for staff to assist her to get to the bathroom. If they didn't come in a timely manner she went on her own. And was scolded.
Would give it less than a star if I could. My mom was left to call the police her second evening here because they weren't responding to her call button. Then we find out she was discharged, 4-5 days after breaking her femur. She is 71 years old and can't go to the bathroom without assistance. They clearly should have partnered with her case worker and assisted with getting her transferred. Dereliction of duty, negligence of care, and a nasty abuse of power and authority going on within this facility.
I like Walker It’s a beautiful place, but my elderly friend had a big surgery, and was there to rehab, didn’t get her meds at night or therapy needed and was sent home way too early.
