My neighbor told me about this brand new (2024 built) assisted living location when she moved her mom in. I immediately toured, put a deposit down, & moved my mom from a different facility into a bright, spacious, brand new studio apartment. For LESS monthly rent than her previous location! They cater to independent living, assisted living, & memory care levels of need. Rent includes all electricity, food, drink (including FULL BAR!), activities, weekly laundry and room cleaning, wifi, & cable tv. The SUPER helpful maintenance tech Mario helps with tv hookups, temp controls, & really anything. My mom's beautiful room (and all the other rooms) have: * mini split heat/cooling * stacked full size washer/dryer * microwave * 2-burner stove (4-burner in 1bdrm & larger apartments) * full size fridge/freezer * kitchen sink/countertop * lots of cabinet storage space * accessible bathroom & shower * walk-in closet with electronic safe * separate coat closet * large windows with lots of light * all laminate flooring The building has a luxury hotel feel the moment you walk in. The (faux) fireplace adds a lovely glow to the sitting area. Amenities include: * large activity room, with a huge glassed-in parakeet enclosure (with new babies hatching all the time!) * physical therapy room with recumbent bikes, filtered water dispenser, exercise bands, weights * screening movie theater with 2pm & 6:30pm movies daily, plus fresh popped popcorn * lounge area w/piano where weekly happy hours & live music happen * stocked snack (fruit, cookies, rotating snacks) & coffee/tea area * restaurant with daily specials, where mealtimes are flexible * a shuttle bus for planned outings to stores & restaurants, that can be booked for doctor's appointments * reserved parking for residents who drive * pet relief area for residents with doggies * memory care area for higher levels of care * 24 hour caregivers for assisted living levels of care Activities include bingo (betting w/quarters!), tech tutoring, watching sporting events on tv, weekly happy hours w/live music & dancing, popup shopping and health/glasses/eye care events, fitness, card & board games, every Friday shabbat, monthly birthdays, art, tapas & trivia, wine tasting & so much more. I love that their activities calendar is on their website so anyone can see the daily options! Residents can get a printed list daily, look on the tvs that show the daily schedules, or join Lifeloop - the app where residents & staff can communicate & see notices, newsletters & daily activity schedules. Cheyenne (sales), Dawn Exec Director), Tatiana (Move In Coordinator), Kim (Resident Svcs), Mario (Maintenance Tech), Krista (Activities), Mallory (Concierge), Seema (Concierge), Leo (Caregiver), Anna (Caregiver), Devine (Caregiver), Yvette (Caregiver), Servers Juan, Ramon, Adil, Shirley, Cara & all the other restaurant servers, & really everyone here are wonderful. This is a fantastic choice for a monthly rent + care fee (if needed) financial model of assisted living. My mom would never have moved to assisted living had she needed to put down hundreds of thousands of dollars (the other financial model that exists). Her life has been very rich living here the past 5 months, & I have peace of mind knowing I can schedule all her doctors (general, dentist, optometrist, opthamologist, podiatrist) to see her right in her apartmenf. For all these reasons I highly recommend!!

My initial tour of the facility was informative and very friendly due largely to the flexibility of the Community Relations director Rhiannon Gilmore. Moving in was made very easy by the Move-in Coordinator Tatiana Gauthier, who is very accommodating and a delight to work with. In short the staff at Westmont is terrific, very responsive to my needs. I am now comfortably settled in my new apartment and happy with the decision I made to move to this facility.
Moving to Westmont of Culver City was the best decision we made in 2024! After my husband's unexpected two weeks of hospital stay with pneumonia which required continuous oxygen treatment, Tatianna, Rhiannon and Kimberly made our moving in a seamless transition. Tatiana patiently helped me completing all of the moving-in documents required, and coordinated with our movers to setup our unit ahead of time. Caregivers were waiting to transport my husband when we arrived and provided the care he needed from there on. From bedridden to independently walking with a walker, they nursed his health back. The compassion and care from the staff and caregivers at Westmont make us feel that we have found a home!!!
I moved to Westmont from an Ivy Park last year. My friend Don referred me who also lives here. Angela my activities person at Ivy also works here!! I was happy to see that she's now at Westmont too. She has great hair. I love her finger waves. I've know her for several years. She's an incredible person and I love her to death. She has driven me to the doctors and is a great addition to our Westmont family. Everybody here has been great. Mario the maintenance director also
Westmont of Culver City is a beautiful new place. My mom is receiving good care in the memory care unit from an invested staff. Kimberly is a compassionate Resident Services/Wellness Director. Special shout-outs go to Brianna, Kamesha and Divine in care, Maya in activities and Jessica in meds. I'm giving the community 4 out of 5 stars because the community is still being built in some ways. A memory care coordinator is yet to be hired and that will be an important addition.
