I've had the pleasure of experiencing Westlake Woods firsthand, and I have to say, it's truly a special place. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the warmth and hospitality. The community is beautiful, with spacious apartments and common areas that are perfect for socializing. I've been impressed by the variety of activities and events, and the food is always delicious. What really stands out to me, though, is the sense of community and belonging. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. If you're looking for a place that feels like home, I would highly recommend. I did a virtual tour with the community. I’m looking for placement for my parents. The community was kind enough to accommodate us virtually. As it is difficult for my parents to get around. During the tour, we encountered many smiling residents and staff. At the time we were able to see bingo!! So many residents and staff interacting together. We were able to say hi to a few residents who stated how much they love their home. Community has a very welcoming atmosphere that I know my parents will love. We look forward to getting to know everyone more through this journey.
One of the biggest challenges in life is finding the best future care for a loved one. My biggest worry is no longer being able to care for my mother due to my own personal family responsibilities and to find an assisted living facility that meets my and my mother’s needs is paramount. Over the past two weeks, I visited other facilities and Westlake Woods was my last stop. Really, I should have stopped here first. The Director of Sales and Marketing, Jeanne Onuska, immediately gave me a tour (unlike the other places where the Sales Director was unavailable or I had to make an appointment). I felt welcomed and comfortable and overall the experience was very pleasant. The building is extremely neat and clean, the employees engage with the residents, and the meals look like a five star chef prepares them. Having previously worked in assisted living, I look for certain things including 1) A comprehensive activities program with engaging opportunities that meet the physical, social, educational, and spiritual needs of their residents, 2) Champion hospitality to deliver excellent customer service to the residents, and 3) How their team monitors and communicates changes in the residents’ physical, mental, and emotional needs. Westlake Woods passed my personal requirements. I highly recommend Westlake Woods for your loved one.

Horribly run. They leave human feces on walls, dried urine on the floors. Have made over 30 complaints and it is still awful. PLEASE!!!! IF YOU LOVE YOUR PARENTS, LOOK ELSWHERE.
