My father spent six months at this facility. If you must leave your loved one in a care center, this one would be at the top of my list. In early 2024, our loved one entered Westgate. The front lobby area is inviting. Sofas and tables for visiting. It doesn't make you feel like you're in a care center, which can set the tone for someone who has never been to a facility like this. The three receptionists were amazing. Their energy makes it easier to walk into a facility like this to see your loved ones. Missy, one of the receptionists, is always smiling and greets everyone; if she can't answer your questions, she will find someone who can. She is an asset to your facility. Leandra made us feel like we were at home. The receptionist go above and beyond. You have a handful of CNAs who genuinely enjoy what they do. To name a few, Deanna, Tony, Marisol, and Jessica. They are the ones who will notice a pattern in behavior and escalate concerns to the nurses—the nurses who listen to the CNAs instead of brushing them off. Nurses like Kulsum, Vega, Kendra, and Amanda make it easier to leave your loved one when you walk out of there after every visit. Management won't get credit for this review from me. They are the ones who need to set the expectations and hold their employees accountable. If you're not doing this, you're not doing your job. It's not just sitting behind a desk and pushing reports. Could you walk the floor more often and ensure your team is trained? "I don't know" isn't acceptable. "I don't know, but I will find someone to answer your question" is acceptable. "I don't know if he ate or how much he ate" isn't sufficient. "Let me check on that, and I'll get back to you" is sufficient. Visiting hours worked for our family. Checking our loved ones in and out for a few hours was easy. The staff was helpful. The daily newsletter was a plus. The lady who delivered every morning during the week always greeted our loved one by their name. Overall, Westgate is a clean and beautiful facility with lots to offer. *My review was based on short-term stays at two other local facilities*

My dad, who is 89, was exceptionally well cared for during his stay there. The staff really love what they do and it shows. There are very happy patients at Westgate. Thank you!
Thank you so much Westgate, for your staff, receptionist, all nurses, kitchen, and maintenance everyone is helpful and courteous. I'm thankful that your facility pays such good attention to all the patients and that are well taken care of with lots of love and care, no patient goes without. Thank you, Leslie Mulanax
Westgate gardens is an amazing facility! The new renovations and state of the art technology helps patients to get better faster with better outcomes. They have been able to reduce the readmit rates of patients due to the quality of care they’re providing around the clock. This facility is definitely worth a tour and a stay for quality care.
We are very pleased to have our loved one at Westgate. The care being given is amazing. Our loved one is always happy with the nursing staff and they always have activities for the patients to stay busy. The food is great and they always provide snacks throught the day. The entire team from nursing, physical therapy, social workers, etc., is just amazing and always available.
