Wesley Glen has been a fantastic facility for my father during his rehab. The nursing staff is very patient and kind. The admin staff has been a pleasure to work with and have been very helpful in navigating through the insurance paperwork, etc. In the last couple of years, my father's health has been declining, so he has been to quite a few rehab facilities, he now requests this facility by name when he is need of rehabilitation.

My dad had major back surgery and went to Wesley Glen for rehab. As soon as we arrived the nurses and housekeeping team members made us feel welcome and treated us so well. It is a clean facility. The nurses always kept me well informed of Dad's progress. The administration team walked me through all the paperwork and are so easy to talk to. Thank you for always being willing to help me and my Dad through an extremely overwhelming situation.
My mom went to this facility after back surgery, and it was an awful experience. I would not recommend it. The physical therapy is minimal—only about 15 minutes—and don't expect timely meals or help with basic hygiene. The front desk staff lacks professionalism and customer service skills. They couldn’t even tell us when meals would be delivered or when medication would be administered. It feels more like a place where people go to deteriorate, not recover. This was a truly disappointing and frustrating experience.
Patio or other fully independent living, and minimal medical care (medication distribution or minimal physical therapy) were a great experience! As my parents began to need additional medical support it has been increasingly problematic. Post Covid (Dad passed) mom has needed more medical support due to a major spine fracture and surgeries, plus bowel issues resulting in a colostomy bag. Mom is mobile, mentally pretty good, speaks fine etc... but WG has been unable to meet her basic care needs. Working with managment, we hear concern and interst in developing care solutions etc... but literally days later will find mom covered in feces from a leaking or overfull stoma bag. The medical aids are friendly to us, but seem unwilling or able to demonstrate any proactive care, like actually checking mom's bag, asking if she's had breakfast, or most critically, cleaning her up within in reasonable timeframe when the bag leaks (liquid stool is extremely irritating to skin!) Unless you are able to visit daily to physically check your loved one, I would not recommend this location for any services requiring daily medical care beyond distribution of medication, and checking vitals. 5 stars for fully independent living, no medical concerns. 2 stars for any person requiring regular supportive care* *My feeling is that the medical support fails at the level of nursing assistents and aids who may lack actual training, and appear to lack proactive and SUPPORTIVE oversight. Clearly finding qualified personnel who are willing and able to work for minimal hourly wages is becoming an increasing challenge. One would expect this to improve at these high end facilities, sadly this does not seem to be the case at WG.
My mom stayed for respite care 3 times so far. We like the staff and some of the rooms . first floor is our preference. Will most likely return again.
