I am writing this letter to sincerely express my gratitude for the exceptional caring, love and support that Lonnisha Locklear has shown my mother here at Wesley Court. While she has had the best care I could ever imagine, Nisha has gone above and beyond. She is always so attentive to my mom and always making sure my she is up and dressed and has taken a special love towards her. While she also attends to all her other residents. She is an amazing person. My mother is 96 years old and with severe dementia. I live not far from her and come to see her almost every day. However, I can count on Nisha to be there when I’m not. Recently, I took a much-needed vacation, and I knew that my mom would be well taken care by the staff at Wesley Court, but especially by Nisha. On Monday, September 9th, 2024. I received a phone call at 3:00 am, regarding my mom that she was sick and being transported to the hospital. I was unaware that that day was Nisha’s day off. I texted her to find out about my mom. Now this was about 4-5 in the morning. I was in a panic, because I was out of the country. Nisha took it upon herself to be at the hospital at 6:00 in the morning so that my mom would not be alone. She stayed there for many hours to keep my mom comfortable and feeling safe. If that’s not going above & beyond, I don’t know what is. She kept me informed the whole time I was traveling back home. Wesley Court is a fantastic facility and I highly recommend it to anyone that is looking for place for their loved one. However, this letter is to show the kind of staff that they employ. Kind, loving and people that are willing to go that extra mile for their patients. Lonnisha Locklear is most definitely the one I love having in my corner.

My mother received care at Wesley Court after leaving another facility that was not providing adequate care. I was familiar with Wesley Court through my work as a nurse and the standards they upheld. My mom was only there for a few short months due to her cancer diagnosis however she was treated very well and received what I considered first rate. The food choices are many and are very good compared to several other facilities I have had experiences with. The staff was friendly, competent and provided care in a timely manner. My family visited there daily while my mom was there so we were able to witness what really went on. If there were any questions or issues there was always a response from the staff or management to get them resolved. Overall I would not hesitate to choose Wesley Court again. It is a small community but seems to feel like home for the residents. The staff work hard to make sure that the needs of the residents are met to the fullest. I commend all of them for the dedication they have. Heather the director is great at communicating with families to keep them abreast of what is going on there and Kim is a great resource when needed. Could not thank them enough for making my moms last days comfortable.
Fantastic staff and leadership. I highly recommend them for moving a family member here. If my family ever needs an assisted living for mom, this will be it! I love the fact that the director has been here for so many years. She is such a terrific director. The staff is superb and treat everyone with love and respect. Great job Wesley Court continued blessings to your team there.
Wonderful Assisted Living Community. My mother is staying there and she is getting along well with the other guest. You couldn't ask for a better place for your loved one to stay. The staff are wonderful and treat my mother with respect and dignity. They're always playing games, doing crafts, watching shows, and going places when they can. Thank you Wesley Court for making my mother feel like family and not like a customer.
It's very hard putting your trust in someone else to care for and love your family members as you would. Choosing a place for them to stay when it's just not feasible for them to stay at home by themselves any longer is a difficult task for yourself and your loved one that you are looking to place. However I feel that Wesley court makes such a difficult task an easy choice. It's a very homelike atmosphere. The residents have lots of things to do activity wise to keep them busy. I am a staff member of 13 years and actually had my great grandmother at our facility.. I can vouch for the love and care that is given to all of the residents. They aren't just our residents they become our family too. The executive director of our facility works with passion and love and is an advocate for the residents and their families. She has been there for I believe 15 years. You just don't find facilities with the same administration for such a long period of time. Wesley court is the best choice for your loved one ❤
