Some of the staff try to have fun by having holiday parties, some host games like bingo or board games. The nurse staff for the rooms were sitting and giggling with other staff saying shift change soon so patients have to wait. An hour later and we are still waiting for staff to come in. The facility is mostly clean with the occasional smell of urine in the halls.

We read the reviews before having my dad come here but it was our only option with insurance. He was supposed to be getting better here but he ended up back in the hospital. He aspirated under their care and when notified that the emergency was happening the nurse asked ‘what should I do?’. I would hope that all staff are trained in emergency situations like this where seconds matter. He ended up intubated with a UTI, Sepsis, Flu, and pneumonia. He also ended up with a wound on his foot that he did not have coming in. All I will say the physical therapists were very good! We went to pick up his belongings and it took an hour to get it. They shoved everything in a black bag unlabeled in a room with a bunch of other bags. We finally received his clothes but not all of his belongings. They should change the name from ‘We Care’ to ‘We don’t Care’!
My mother came here for rehab after a knee replacement surgery and died 1 week later. She was a strong, independent 83 year old. She only needed rehab before she could return home. The SCD pumps were still in a bag and were never opened. I was told while she was gasping for air, her nurse was on her cell phone FaceTime her boyfriend. Please do not send your loved one here. This place is a death trap and should be closed down.
I'm glad that the place was bought by some other group. Hopefully they've cleaned it up by now. When I was working there over this last summer, there were a lot of flies landing on residents, and the air conditioner was broken so the rooms and hallways on the one side of the building were over 100°. Nurses are inattentive, most of the CNAs were ghetto, and the environment was just extremely hostile. Hopefully it's gotten better!
On the day my loved one was supposed to leave, they didn’t have him ready to go. They had lost all his clothes. He was completely unprepared to be sent home - couldn’t even walk. We had to call 911 to assist with bringing him in the house. It was a complete disaster
