I moved in 3 1/2 years ago with my husband, and I am so glad I did. When my husband passed, I had a community who cared and supported me. I have made friends with intelligent and interesting people. The life enrichment activities are stimulating and geared towards my interests. The staff and management are supportive and helpful. The food is excellent.

My husband and I had to leave our former home abruptly and needed a place to live as soon as possible. Our friend came to our rescue and told us about her building, Waterstone at the Circle. We moved in, intending to stay temporarily, but discovered that we had found our home. The staff and residents have been warm and welcoming beyond our expectations, from the housekeepers to the concierges to the drivers to the kitchen staff to the administrators. We enjoy the wide range of activities from concerts, lectures, movies, the gym, the pool, and the social events. The cuisine is fabulous like a five star restaurant. The views of the reservoir and beyond are unparalleled. The location is convenient to downtown Boston, Cambridge, and surrounding towns, we can ask one of the Waterstone drivers or take the nearby Green Line. In summary, we are incredibly happy that an unfortunate event led us to this wonderful community which we now call home.
We've had a care management client and her spouse move there recently and it was a very smooth and successful transition. The staff are always very responsive, friendly and helpful when anything is needed. The facility itself is beautiful with great amenities and in a lively setting in Cleveland Circle!
I was excited when mom moved in as the sales agent promised a vibrant independent community, but we quickly found that there were few people she could have a meaningful conversation with. Many of the residents have severe memory issues and wander the halls like zombies. Activities leave little to be desired. The food is ok.
The people at the Circle - both staff and residents - make Waterstone feel like a large family. The community is so welcoming and supportive of each other, truly making coming to work fun and fulfilling!
