Waterford Estates is a very lovely place to live, even if it's just short term. They have a lot of things your love one can participate in. The staff is lovely and friendly the building is clean.I'm bringing My mother there for respite care. I didn't know exactly how to go about it but, when I spoke to Miss Julie she explained everything to me she is so friendly and warm she broke everything down to me and my mother where is that we understood it. We even took a tour of the building and my mother enjoyed it she loves this place.I highly recommended place

At Waterford Estates Independent Living in Hazel Crest the management and staff were wonderful and very helpful in assisting clients with their daily needs. It gives you a sense of hope and being at home outside your home, and there is no better feeling than being at home. Thanks to Julie Ryan many clients that I assisted with their move were satisfied with their new place of residency.
Waterford Estates is a wonderful Senior Living facility. We are impressed with the staff, the facility itself, and what it offers there. The staff is easy to work with. They are all so friendly and helpful. When we moved my sister into her apartment, there was a small table outside her door with a framed welcome sign. The food is good and there are many activities for the residents. I have yet to meet a resident who isn't happy. I highly recommend Waterford Estates!
My family cannot say enough good things about our experience with Waterford. My mother is currently an independent resident. Through friends and family, we are familiar with the various areas of assistance Waterford is equipped to provide. We recommend Waterford to anyone looking for independent, assisted living or memory care for a loved one. The caring and compassionate staff truly go above and beyond. The large, common areas in the facility invite and encourage residents to gather and socialize. There are several laundry facilities onsite, an outdoor patio, a library for reading, and a pool for aqua aerobic classes. The beautiful outdoor grounds give the residents a place to sit, and relax or walk. Waterford offers indoor dining, access to health care, and lots of outings, activities and gatherings to keep the elderly residents active and social. The apartments are spacious and the building is secure. This culture of caring is an ideal place for seniors to live. My family and I look forward to another year and interacting with Waterford’s new executive director and administration.
Pros: the facility is very nice, kept very clean, the residents have great menu options Cons: poor communication skills from memory management, always indirectly subliminally addressing situations rather than being professional and either calling a meeting or having a adult conversation. I always found out new rules or changes through coworkers and never the management. Which created a lot of drama and confusion. Always acts like the families are a bother when they have simple questions. Do better and practice healthy communication skills.
