I feel like the staff love what they do and are really good at what they do. All that I met were very pleasant and showed create care towards my mother, from the front desk, nurses, custodial and even one night when I was on the phone and upset, one of the kitchen crew saw me and consoled me. I left knowing my mom is in good and caring hands.
AGENCY WORKERS BEWARE. YOU WILL GET DNR for speaking up and standing on business. I was falsely accused of charting before I did my tasks on shift. But I started charting after my first round. When you do rounds, you change people etc.. in the beginning of a shift. If you’re watching from a camera you do not know what someone does when they enter a residents room. Assuming tasks are not done and not discussing it with the accused before taking action is abuse of power. Those in the office get a paycheck regardless. That’s why they don’t really care. The administrator told me “I really didn’t have to talk to you about it, I could have told you to go talk to your agency”. But I bet if it was his paycheck being withheld it would have been an issue. Playing with our money and giving false accusations or reasons to take it or delay it is also abuse of power. These companies do not care about CNAs point blank period especially agency ones.They will give agency a low rating without discussing it with you until approached about it so that you can be ****PAID A WEEK LATE INSTEAD OF WITHIN 24 hours.**** DO NOT WORK HERE!! I REPEAT!! They let their nurses sleep on shifts and take 2-3 hour long smoke breaks but have an issue with agency starting their charting after rounds and actually doing their work. When a time frame about charting is not at all in their policy that they had us sign to be able to apply for shifts. TOO MUCH DRAMA AND RACISM AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
The staff has been so helpful with my Mother during her stay. Tina( RN), Amy (Social Worker) and ALL of the staff on the rehab unit and PT Department. They have been so kind and are making sure she is cared for and comfortable. All of my questions and concerns were addressed immediately and they have been wonderful with every aspect of her care. If I could give 10 stars I would! You all are appreciated more than you know!!!
I feel this is a nice place to be. The nursing aides and nurse's are very good. The staff takes good care of the patients here. They really care and do their best. They spend time and talk to you. When you are sick they give the best care. It would be nice if there was showers in every room. But overall it's a nice place if you need care.
