Very bad. Everything. The rooms, communication, staff shortage, friendliness (except for a few of course), rules, agreements. Smell, dirty and people shouting everywhere. Never experienced anything sweet and even worked in several houses. My mistake was yet another point of irritation. My father had gone downstairs for a drink with his roommate. They looked at their watches to get there in time for the soup round. They arrived a few minutes late and were not allowed any more soup. My father became more depressed and sadder by the day. How I regretted bringing him there. I had already been warned by several people not to do it. Unfortunately, if you are transferred from a hospital you have no choice. After a few more days of trying (it will probably get better), I finally decided. We arranged everything within 5 days and returned home until a place became available elsewhere. Even there a promise that was not kept (arranging oxygen) and I was portrayed as a liar by the department head. Took home against doctor's advice. This far and no further. (Mini selection from the book) Dad has been living in the Bieslandhof for 6 months now and is very happy here. What a neat, beautiful, nice attitude. Never again will one person from my circle step over the threshold of peace. Never.

My mother came home here after a fall down the stairs to recuperate and learn to walk again, but initially no help was offered; Nothing happened, she just lay there on the bed. After a conversation with the head of department, physiotherapy was arranged for her. That was a step in the right direction for her. There were far too few staff in the department where she was located and my mother had to shout a lot for help because no one came, or simply no one was there? A major staff shortage... Money also disappeared from her cupboard by the bed. She had not published it herself. Ultimately, she gave up hope and died shortly afterwards. More staff would make a big difference. The garden was a very nice place where you could walk with her in the wheelchair.
My mother stayed in the Herfsthof department for 3 months due to a stroke. We are happy with the care and guidance she received. Thanks to physiotherapy and speech therapy, she was able to quickly work on her recovery at the age of 90. The nursing home doctor was approachable and you could go straight to questions if you had any questions. The staff was helpful and personable. The downside is that sometimes there was a long wait in case of emergency, but this is understandable due to a possible shortage of staff and the demand for care from clients in the department. On the other hand, the personal attention was very much appreciated. Together we look back at a good and pleasant time she had there during a period when things were not going so well for her.
I don't easily write a bad review, but the way this nursing home treated me as a caregiver is very unprofessional. I worked there as a self-employed person and since there was another planner, things have become a complete mess. As a result, almost no shifts were worked there this year. And to top it all off, they apparently kicked me out, as I found out when I could no longer log in!! Maybe that's a good thing, because all the bad reviews here are very accurate and don't be fooled into thinking otherwise. The hourly rate is extremely low. My shifts were also changed regularly, so I suddenly worked 4 hours longer that day, without consultation. And when you contact the planner by email, they say that I have registered for that service myself. Yes, a service until 11:30 am, not until 4:00 pm. Sometimes I really wondered where the staff got their diploma and whether they have it. Healthcare providers who argue with clients or family, snap at clients, make them sit on the toilet for an hour (!) and so on. And if you have a wound, some people don't seem to know what to do at all. If my family member had to come here, I'd rather take care of them at home! Don't get me wrong; There are also good, competent healthcare providers, but unfortunately they can only be counted on one hand (or less). Unfortunately, this nursing home accepts absolutely everyone and this is to the detriment of the clients.
A good friend of mine was taken to you very poorly at the end of 2022, what a mess I was verbally abused when I asked something about him, a nurse who was someone who took good care of him!!! And the rest of the nursing was worthless, I heard from several people that you had poor care, everyone should know, let your relatives make sure you don't want a big mess there!!
