I would not recommend this place. They used to be good until they got purchased by a bigger corporate few years back. They merged two facilities and up until few weeks ago, they were understaffed to fully meet the needs of the patient. Some of their staff was downright rude to residents that they were being paid to take care of. In my experience, unless someone is fully mobile and independent, this place isn't suitable for them. Despite of the big menu, the food wasn't good. I would never send a loved one there again.
My aunt enjoyed residing at Voorhees Senior Living for two years. Like many people, she resisted leaving her home of many years, but once she made the move, she was glad she did. The staff is very friendly and patient with the residents. The facility provides many varied activities throughout the day, and my aunt participated in those that interested her. The staff also was very helpful in keeping family abreast of any significant medical issues that arose. My aunt and I visited several other facilities before she moved here. The combination of room size and cost, we think, provided the best value for her. Moreover, I have visited as least once per week and noticed that the residence has always been super clean, which was very important to us.
We received warm welcome today at Voorhees Senior Living, and they are so caring, cheerful and their communication is super cool. The environment is super clean, and everything inside the building is lively, I will recommend Voorhees Senior Living that's why I gave it 5 stars
After touring 6 facilities we settled on Voorhees Senior Living for our Mother. The building is clean and well maintained with a light airy dining room and very good, substantial meals served in a homey, relaxed atmosphere. Activities are plentiful, diverse and well attended. The Physical and Occupational therapists are aces and the staff, including the administrators, are pleasant, caring and welcoming. Many of them go Above and beyond to make sure that Mom is comfortable and engaged. There were a few bumps along the road but we were able to work together to resolve issues. We are now 8 months into this phase of our lives and still satisfied that we chose Voorhees Senior Living. Most importantly, Mom is thriving.
