Beautiful
If you or one of your loved ones needs care in the future, do not go to this slaughterhouse. I think the chance that you leave the building between six planks is very high...
I have been to several care homes...but this one takes the cake! In a negative sense! Terrible place. I can't make it anymore. My father was admitted after a fall at home, behind the front door... by a caregiver, also from Viva! who pushed him over was an accident, she had no patience, due to time pressure. Please get Viva! from the company name! Care Ditto! There is no Viva! And substandard care! Appointments are not kept. The physiotherapist can wait for you... until you weigh an ounce... my 89 year old father is waiting and waiting, no one! Unfortunately, he experienced the same experience during a previous admission due to a broken hip, put crosses in the weekly schedule of therapists who did not show up, hung on the door of his room... Together today! waiting for a doctor from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Nobody! And this is not the first time! Several times, my father's slippery bedspread, which is used as a duvet, has slipped off the bed and landed on his buttocks, just dangerous, 🆘 were previously used as a bedspread... kind of mats are used as incontinence materials... tied/tied, as if you were a baby, and becomes a sagging wad, between your legs... once every two weeks, by God's grace... you can take a shower... if all goes well... you are woken up a little in time... you get a cheese sandwich with tea, around lunch time... even though you have diabetes, there was supposed to be a treatment plan about 6 weeks ago... it was canceled and I haven't seen or heard anything more about it yet... my father and the rest of the department had contracted a "Corona" infection. "Corona" test swab deep in your nose, with the result... everyone locked up, in their room... there you are locked up... 🧐😷 While the virus has long been is extinguished! There were the corona shot permission papers, for the injection and the flu shot, on the bedside table... this doesn't mean anything at all! 2x no! Entered! Who is going to inject now, during an infection? I think it's the worst... the very worst, my father waits and waits and waits for everything that doesn't come... and is told again and again, we will pass it on! To me, his daughter... we'll put it in the mail! And nothing else happens! Something can go wrong sometimes! That's possible. But this is structural! I had an extensive conversation with a care manager last week, previously they had left my father in bed until lunchtime... apologies! If he gets a washcloth from a package over him...and then his shirt over it, don't dry it...that's it! while I was told he was washing in a sink? A little slower, but everything was going well! Not so. I didn't learn it all that way.. from the Nursing manual.. dried urine stains in his sheet... due to leaking catheter couplings.. that are not properly put together... I will change his bed myself.. no problem! A wound for a week, an infection in his cheek, wound fluid drained out, took iodine tincture, alcohol, etc. bring it from home, handle it yourself..ect. ect. ect. ect.Do it yourself care. I now come there every day, and I leave every day with a bad feeling... if you can choose... we couldn't do that, it was an emergency admission, I certainly wouldn't! go for this organization...there is a kink somewhere! in the cable...(administrative?) It must be possible to do better! I have experienced better elsewhere... recently, it can be better, in Ouddorp... if you have the choice, go for it... Magentazorghuis... or another better, well-regarded house, of better quality, where care is still taken care of for the people! and agreements are fulfilled...there are sufficient people present on the work floor.. I know it can be better, I have experienced it much better elsewhere... having to constantly listen, there is a chronic staff shortage... come on! Substandard care! on the backs of vulnerable elderly people, you will not hear these people! These people have no voice! Read a review earlier, from a daughter's heart is crying! I cry with her..🥲 P.S. I had my father, in his 90th year, read this review this morning, his mental capacity is fine! His response was So! That's not wrong! You're right about what it says here. Sad.
The food is inedible. They do not take into account the diets of the patients/residents. Broom salt soup for residents who have to eat salt-free/low-salt. Spaghetti Carbonara 1 clump of stuck together mess. The cheese cannot be found and the bacon has run away very quickly. Visitors pay 13.25 euros for something where dogs turn their heads away. Healthcare staff are friendly.
What a nice nursing home to stay in. Very friendly employees (thank you very much for your help, encouragement and your humor), good food, also with family and friends, a wonderful doctor (Joeri) who really takes the time for you. Doctors can follow him as an example. If you have to go to a nursing home, Meerstate in Heemskerk is highly recommended.
