I absolutely love the new renovations that Vitality Living Hendersonville has completed. My Grandmother is thriving at Vitality Living Hendersonville. The Care and Nursing Staff is Exceptional. My family and I really enjoyed our tour with Julie. Julie was engaging,hospitable, and represented Vitality Living Hendersonville very well. I would say the difference between other communities and Vitality Living are the People. Vitality should be proud.

I was recently looking for a new memory care home for my mama and needed one quickly. Vitality was the first one recommended to me to tour. After taking a tour at 3 different facilities I had a peace about my mama coming to Vitality. The staff was all friendly & so kind and helpful through the whole process. The residents seem happy and well taken care of when I visit. You can tell the workers care about the residents and interact with them. I love the activities they have for the memory care residents to help keep them engaged as much as possible and the fact they have a piano is a real plus for my mama. The first time I was there at meal time I was very impressed with the choices they gave to the residents to choose from. I truly feel that the Lord was in all the decisions that had to be made and things working out about moving my mama to Vitality.
My Mom has lived at The Hearth, now Vitality Living the past 3 years. The facility has recently been remodeled and is beautiful… Mom loves showing it off to her visitors, especially the sun room and the dining room. The other residents and staff have become like family to us. Shout out to Mom’s favorite staff: Administrators (Sherry and Pat), the Nurses (Randall and Brittany), the RA’s (Megan, Jamie, & Melissa), all the Dietary staff, the Activities staff (Rick and Kelly), the Van driver (James) the front receptionist (Cristy & Dori), housekeeping (Samantha), the Salon (Penny), the PT staff, and the maintenance staff, and many more They are all so friendly, helpful, responsive to issues, and show my Mom how much they care. This is why we call Vitality Living Mom’s home. I highly recommend this facility.
I am Jon Blount, and am the husband of Annette. My sister-in-law (Annette's sister), became a resident at Vitality of Hendersonville, TN around October of 2023 after looking at approximately (7) other communities. Needless to say, Vitality stood head and shoulders "above" all of the communities. Our love one has a diagnosis which made it unsafe for her to continue to reside alone in her apartment. This began our search for the community that would need to be the "perfect" fit! From the beginning, Pat, the Sales / Marketing Director, along with Sheri, the Executive Director met with us and listened carefully regarding our concerns along with making sure the normal level of apprehension from our family member would be considered. From this point an initial visit was scheduled. From the time we entered the community, everything seemed to be "customized" for our loved one, along with every detail of our initial concerns met. The community was spacious with a warm and family like atmosphere. All of the residents immediately began to embrace us and welcome us home! From there, the placement of her apartment was just steps away from the accommodations she'd require! Regrettably, the diagnosis cannot be reversed but things have seemed to "level off" since becoming a resident at Vitality! The residents all embrace one another, the many scheduled activities, events, and field trips continue to stimulate our loved one in addition to leaving her happily anticipating what's next! As witnesses, Annette and I cannot be happier with Vitality. We've seen our loved one thrive, and say to other relatives that she "loves" it there! Be You. Be Vibrant. A family member lived alone and needed somewhere to stay while we were out of town. We were given a tour by Pat at Vitality. The facility appeared to be clean and the staff were friendly. After visiting several other assisted living facilities with us my family member decided to spend a couple of weeks at Vitality. After her stay was over she told us that her stay was positive and she didn’t have any issues with the staff or the facility. A few months later she told us that she wanted to return to Vitality as a permanent resident. We contacted Pat at Vitality and she was happy to assist us with the arrangements. She advised they had cleaned and painted her apartment and it would be ready for her but in order to get a special discount we had to take possession of the apartment within two days. On the day of the move my family member changed her mind and didn’t want to move. We contacted Pat and advised her of the decision. Pat said she was sorry to hear the news but would not be able to give our elderly family member their money back. This was about $4,500 and this was a huge impact on our elderly family members fixed income budget. Pat advised she would contact Sherry, the director of the facility to see if they would issue a refund. After a few days had passed and we did not hear from Sherry we called her ourselves but she was out of the office and we were forced to leave a voice mail. After that call wasn’t returned, we left a second message. Again, no call back. We drove to Vitality to discuss the issue in person with Sherry but rather than discussing the issue with us she sent Pat out to inform us that she was waiting for the corporate office to make the decision as to whether to issue the refund. I can’t help but think they are just slow walking this issue hoping we will just go away. It is a shame that a facility that has so much going for it would tarnish it by keeping an elderly person’s money when they had not even moved in! **UPDATE** It’s been three weeks since we requested the refund from Vitality and they have still refused to respond to our request for a refund of our elderly family members money. We reached out to Sherry at the Hendersonville location of Vitality more than a week ago and she advised Vitality is considering a partial refund and sent the matter to their attorney for review. This was more than a week ago and no response from Vitality. If anyone truly wants to do the “right thing” the last person you would ask is an attorney. This just confirmed to us that they don’t want to do the right thing, they just want to keep this lady’s money even though she never moved anything into this apartment. Because of Vitality’s refusal to communicate with us I have changed the two-star rating to one-star. Please consider Vitality’s actions in this issue before suggesting this facility to a loved one. There are several senior facilities in this area that will show your family much more compassion than Vitality. I will continue to update this post every week until Vitality responds to us.
